Can i apply a water based clear varnish over the wallpaper?

I’ve used the wallpaper on furniture that I’ve then used a water based coating on to protect it, I’ve had no problems at all

If you varnish it afterwards I don’t see why not? I use the deco patch yellow bottle to seal wallpapers
