It did burn but not excruciating. Like, when you eat spicy food and gets on your lips. It does moisturize. I didn’t have it on that long. So, not sure if I would’ve had anymore of a difference. It was on for like 25-30 min. I took a shower after I put it on so I could wash it off in case i had a reaction but nothing. Burning stops after a while. My lips are a little red around them but I do have sensitive skin. Makes your lips soft too. No directions, the bottle is about an inch tall. To me, not really worth 10 dollars for how small it is. But, maybe I’m cheap. Lol But, just try it if you’re wondering what it will do to yours.
