Wow, at age 63 I finally realized hangers do make a huge difference! I used to work in a corporate environment and had a ridiculously large wardrobe. Everything in my closet was hung on "department store" hangers. They did the job and were "okay". I quit my job 3 years ago to help my parents. I donated a ton of clothes to Dress for Success. However, I thought I would probably pick up a part time job somewhere so I kept some of my work clothes. After 3 years and still helping my parents I realized it was time to give up the remainder of those corporate work clothes. So I decided it was time to really get my closet in order since that was something I could actually control. After the 2nd round of donations and looking at what I had left I got realistic about what I was actually wearing, what fit, etc. and pared down further. It was then that I realized I could actually have all my hanging clothes in one closet! Even though the department store hangers were functioning they were looking pretty rough. I decided I wanted my closet to look really organized. I started looking for wooden pants hangers. I have quite a few jeans and I like to keep them hanging. After searching, I found what I thought would be the perfect choice that met my criteria. Adjustable non-slipping clips dipped with black plastic to protect the fabric. A 360-degree swivel stainless steel hook. Sturdy but lightweight! And these appeared to be wider than other hangers in this category. I was a little skeptical of the price since I knew I was going to need 2 boxes but I ordered them anyway. Upon receipt I was impressed with how much care was taken in the packaging, every hanger was in perfect condition. These are absolutely beautiful with the wooden inlay design, the adjustable clips slide easily and the protected clip ends hold the clothes firmly without damaging fabric. I also like the width so there is not much extra hanging off either end of the hanger. Once I rehung all my pants I couldn't believe the difference it made (I wish I had taken a before photo). These hangers are absolutely beautiful and my closet now looks polished. I told my husband to clean out his side of the closet and I'd buy him new hangers too. It seems I have become an official "hanger snob"!

These hangers are extremely well made. I love that the clips have a little coating on the ends so that they will not snag your more delicate clothing. The clips also move side to side which makes it super easy to hang whatever you wish on them and they also look beautiful in my closet.

What goes wrong with skirt hangers? The clips can stick too far out so they catch on other clothing. With these the clips are close to the width of the thickness of the hanger. Or the clips can’t grip tightly enough and your clothes slip out onto the floor. These clips grip tightly. They will reliably hold a heavy pair of jeans. Or The hanger breaks. These are sturdy wood hangers that don’t break. The wooden top is curved and smooth so it doesn’t snag other clothing. Best of all, the reason I bought 4 sets: the wire that holds the clips goes into the sides of the wood, rather than hanging from the top, so the wires don’t come out as the glue stops working. These hangers will work forever, so even though you can buy cheaper ones, they are a good deal.

"....Perfect for Skirts, Pants, Slacks...." And that's about it. Unless you're a youngster or a small person with narrow shoulders, these hangers will NOT reach from shoulder to shoulder properly on size large or bigger shirts, jackets, or coats. I'm only keeping them because they will work for pants and that is what they were designed for, and it's my mistake for over looking this, (and would be too much of a pain to mess with returning them.) They seem to be well made, but I'm not sure how long they will hold up as the hook does not pass through the laminated wood, (ie. the hook shank terminates inside of the wood, so since the hook swivels unless it is well anchored sooner or later it will wear and pull out.)

These hangers excellent quality and arrived just as pictured. They absolutely feel made to last and like a little luxury hanging in my closet - worth every penny given the years I'm sure to have them. I've seen these in the wild at boutique shops. They are also a perfect match to their counterparts (what I would consider a standard hanger) and the metal clips are easy to use, without any concern of damaging any of my clothing. Absolutely love these and would 100% purchase again, after months of use.

Elegant, well-made hangers that look like they will hold up well. Lightweight but sturdy with high-quality clips. Highly recommend these for a closet upgrade!

These worked perfectly and look great. The clips are strong enough to hold even heavy jeans, and only slide when you purposely move them.
