I purchased these for a number of reasons relative to the current Pandemic; I and a friend are medically exempt from wearing cloth masks, but wanted to wear some form of face covering; in addition to which, my 6 year old granddaughter was really struggling to wear a cloth mask, getting into a panic and generally terrified. She wasn't particularly happy initially with these masks, but I left her with the idea and now she is very happy to wear it.For those who wear glasses and have problems with their lenses steaming up with the cloth masks, these are ideal; similarly you are less likely to suffer from heat issues wearing them and they are very comfortable to wear.Prior to purchasing, I did some research in terms of their effectiveness. They are as effective and possibly more so than cloth masks. So many people tell me that the virus can get under the mask, according to the scientists and medical staff, this is not the case because of the way the virus is transmitted. Apparently, the virus, while transported via droplets that we breath out are heavier than air. This means that although initially when we breath out the droplets are expelled at a 90 degree angle and then they fall, they do not rise again to find the space under the mask.The clear film prevents any droplets actually reaching your face, the length of the facial shield means that no droplets can get under the mask.They are easy to clean; I keep antibacterial wipes in the car to wipe the mask down as soon as i get in the car and then wash it in the evening with warm soapy water.They are not as robust as cloth masks for obvious reason, the visor can scratch and bend if not handled with reasonable care. That said they are worth this slight inconvenience. At this point I can not say how long each mask would last, but, with reasonable care I anticipate a reasonable length of usage.

Great value, padded headband for comfort and gives clearance for glasses wearers. Clear vision. No steamed up specs. No muffled speech. Wipe clean. They do eventually get creased and need replacing but so much better than a Mask
