Perfect for a smaller backyard
I have a narrow, but longer back yard. This is perfect. I can set it up quickly and it's not a permanent fixture. My 8 year old can put it up *almost* by himself, the locking clip can be hard for smaller hands. It will blow over if it's windy, I'm going to experiment with a sandbag once it warms up again. This was PERFECT for an outside quarantine/lock down toy. I can see why/where people say it's fragile. The plastic tubing relies on a metal pin to pop into a hole to hold the poles up and back in to bring them down.. You need to do this carefully to prevent the plastic from breaking. I also found that putting the net on one, fully extended end, then on the other end BEFORE you fully extend it makes less stress on those sections. The actual rackets are cheap and won't hold up to smaller kids, however, given the price of the whole set, I'm more than willing to replace them with nicer rackets after my kids have learned how to play. I actually bought 2 more rackets so that 4 can play at once. The birdies are great, work well. You can get glow/light up ones for nighttime play. The case holds ALL of the stuff it comes with, in addition to 2 more rackets and 3 more birdies, with some room to spare. It's lightweight, easy to carry. Plastic seems a bit light, if it was dropped on a hard surface, it would probably crack.

Love it, great buy
This is a great purchase! The extendable poles seem a bit cheap but itโs a low-cost set and they do the job of supporting the net just fine. Our kids set up it as soon as we got it โ easy to do! On one of the poles in our set, all the tension metal clips from inside the pole that fit at the end inside each section (with the metal bump/button that sticks out of the hole so each section can lock in to place) had either not been installed in their respective sections before packaging, or had fallen out, but they were easy to put where they needed to be and there were no problems connecting the sections of that pole; the other pole was as expected. The bright green color of the frame makes it easier to see (we end up playing at dusk into dark pretty often). Want to buy a second set so we can have multiple games going and this set makes that very reasonable and easy to do. Very cool that the whole thing can be easily and quickly packed up and taken on an outing to the park, beach, friendโs house. The racquets that come with are standard (smaller frame than tennis racquet, long post to handle) and work great. The shuttlecocks that come with are a little light weight and require a bit more effort to play, but we bought a feathered set that are heavier, thereโs plenty of room inside the base to store extras. We really love this set and are very pleased with it! Super easy to move around the yard or I to storage even if you donโt want to take it all down (though it would take literally only minutes to take down). No regrets at all with this purchase. We use it almost every day.

Easy to assemble but not sturdy
This was super duper easy to assemble (took less than 5min) and I appreciate that it came with the birdies, rackets, and even line tape/rope. However, I wish that it had some stakes that you could hold it down, as any wind comes and it has blown over. I also had to buy two more rackets as it only comes with two. However, overall it was worth the money and a fun item for the backyard (and easy to pack up and bring to the park etc) and it doesnโt take up much space (both assembled and in the container)

Worked great!
I had bought this because my niece and her family, including 3 young girls under the age of 10, were coming to visit Mom. Mom's house has a great backyard which I thought the girls would enjoy exploring. On their way out to go play, I mentioned that I had bought a badminton set in case they wanted to play something later, and they all just perked right up. Badminton? They were all over it! Apparently they also play at a friend's house so were very familiar with it. In less than 5 minutes the net was set up and they were hitting the birdie back and forth. Everyone had great fun! I can see though that if it's windy out, you'd need to use something to weigh down the base for the net. But it was a beautiful day where we were, and if the sun was in someone's eyes they just rotated the net a bit on the lawn and kept on playing. Super easy to set up and take back down, and easy to store. Definitely keeping for the next time everyone comes to visit!

Great fun!
We got this a couple summers ago and it is still going strong. Good for when we have large family gatherings. Easy to set up and take down.

Convenient and easy to assemble
Since my son grew an interest in badminton we were looking for a set that will be easy to transport in the car and to include everything that he needed to play. We found this set, and he got to use it indoors few times with his partner at the school gym. Product itโs well built, easy to assemble and take down and store in the case. Doesnโt take much trunk space and now that the weather gets nicer out he can use it more often outside. Good value

Ehhh itโs good
Smaller than expected but I should have measured. Works great! Sometimes you need some rocks to hold it down if itโs windy. Also the rackets they give you are kinda bad so go to Walmart and get new ones. Overall definitely worth the price I paid

Five stars with caveats
This badminton set is great and we love it. It sets up in just a couple minutes, and is easy to pack away back into the carry case. It is easily portable for bringing to a park or on a picnic. We find putting 3 bricks inside the empty case keeps it steady. It is worth noting however that it is not meant to be set up as a permanent fixture in your yard all summer. We take it down if it is going to snow, rain, or be excessively windy. It is not designed to withstand the elements. Also, plan to either immediately upgrade the rackets, or wrap the handles because the wrap that comes on the handles will not hold up more than a few minutes. The birdies that come with it are also fairly cheap quality, but last a little longer than the rackets.

Good times fun!
Awesome design and ease of use. Carrying case also awesome. Only thing is that it can be flimsy in the wind as it is fairly small (singles only width no doubles). A weighted blanket etc should be laid on the base to help it stay upright which it does, but in the wind it can be irritating. Then again maybe shouldnโt play in overly windy conditions.

easy set up, no lines or steaks
Works great, easy set up. Only 2 downsides. The plastic poles i can see breaking overtime and it blows over in the wind. We just put a sandbag or rock on it

Works
Works great. Falls over in the wind but i just add weight to the base. Sadly the net isnt wide enough for 4 players even if you had two more rackets
