Fits like OEM. Very easy install. Just take out old third brake light assembly and put the new one and just one plug needed which is your main connection. Used the oem phillips screws from truck and it worked great. Makes truck look even more modern. Great price for what you get.

The main thing to say here is that the light looks great, and it blends in well and gives a much slicker appearance to the rear of my black Ram 1500. Installation took a few minutes as it is just a plug and play connection with the stock wiring harness. It does have a thicker foam gasket than the stock light which prevents it from sitting as flush however I think this should do a good job of keeping any moisture or debris out of the compartment but only time will tell. The LED lights are bright and easily noticed and compliment my new LED tail lights nicely. I liked the setup of these LEDs much better than some of the other aftermarket 3rd brake lights out there. Now here's why I titled this review as such and gave 4 starts instead of 5. The product listing clearly states that the light will work as a reverse light as well, lighting up the white LEDs. This is not the case, as you can see in my video (the flashing lights are due to video framerate). The white LEDs function only when the unlock button is pressed on key fob, or as a cargo light. I cannot recall if the stock 3rd light functioned as a reverse light (I do not believe so) so I wouldn't expect this product to either - but that being said, they should not advertise that it does this. How am I to know they did not include some wiring or chip in the electronics that added this function? I did purchase this particular light in part because of that advertised function so I am a little disappointed it does not actually work that way. I did reach out to the seller first to get more information, and while they were responsive, they did not really have much of an answer for me or seemed unaware that this would be a problem. All in all, this light looks great on my black truck but just be aware that it is not totally as advertised.

This third brake light for my 2010 F150 Supercrew arrived fast and was packaged well inside a bubble wrap sleeve and a decent cardboard box. I received the smoked third brake light and a package of two washers. There were no instructions to be found however, installation was easy in my opinion. The following is how I installed mine. Removed two Phillips screws with nuts on the backside of the new unit, likely for shipping reasons. These were not reused. Removed two Phillips screws from the old third brake light unit and carefully removed the old unit. I cleaned the mounting surface. I untwisted the three bulb holders from the old unit. The middle holder was for my brake light. The other two were for the cargo lights. I removed the three bulbs from their holders. I connected the new unit - black and white wires to one of the cargo lamp bulb holders and the center red wire to the brake light bulb holder (center holder on the harness with a red wire running to it). Connections are made by pushing the new wire plug assembly into the old bulb holder. One bulb holder will not have a connection. This was for the second bulb for the cargo lamps on the old unit. I then inserted the bulb holders into the new unit and twisted them into place. I installed the rubber-type washers on the original mounting screws with the cup face against the screw head. I installed the screws by hand making sure the unit was snug taking care not to over-tighten and damage the new unit. Performed an operational check. Looking forward to seeing this at night. Hoping for a long, leak-free life from this.

Sitting on the fence a while trying to decide which 3rd brake light + Cargo light combo light I should purchase. Glad I went with this one. Quality is amazing and performance even better from seal to plug and play. Brake light is amazingly bright and cargo light has great display capacity. Replacement extremely easy. Satisfied customer! Highly recommend
