Works Great
Bought this to pull off the primary clutch on my 2005 Polaris ATP. Worked very well and not a bad price for a tool I won't need very often.

This WILL NOT work on a 1980’s Indy P85!
Overall this is a good quality kit and I’m sure works great on a P90 and other newer Polaris clutches. I took a shot on this for my 1988 Polaris Indy with a 488 with electric start. First encounter, the stanchions for the ring gear don’t allow the sheave to sit on the fixture groove. Needed that to be milled by a friend with a CNC machine - photo 1. Next, the spider nut is a 4 pronged nut on my clutch. The socket in this kit is 6 pronged. So needed to cut and grind that down to my need. Overall this helped me take apart my old clutch for rebuild, but sharing the warning for those who thought it would work like me - it won’t.

Make sure it doesn’t get bound up while impacting
Got a 2007 Polaris Ranger 500 EFI this tool wouldn’t fit at first but I noticed there was a bushing inside the clutch that had to be taken out once that was removed this tool slipped right in. Be advised though it takes a good bit to pop off your clutch the main thing is to make sure this tool remains turning, best case spin it in by hand until you can’t turn it anymore then hit with the impact if it binds you can lightly tap it with a hammer then try again you definitely don’t want it to bind up in there or you’ll snap it clean into. It’s a 21mm socket and I recommend using a six point shallow socket on a 1/2 in drive impact wrench air or battery, we have the DeWalt XR 20V Max and that thing struggled slightly but after 30 seconds of impacting it popped right off highly recommend this tool.
