Is it safe for painted or metallic surface, including chrome, of a tank?

I use it for painted pool. It works great. I use a good bit more than recommended to open my pool. I also have a ton of leaves and it looks like a pond so it needs more than recommended.

I love flocculant but it could be stronger

Worked ok . I don’t feel like it’s as good as the htc brand . There was a lot of foaming . I used 2 bottles . It has the pull peel opener .
