LACRI-LUBE Lubricant Eye Ointment 3.50 g (Pack of 8)

I have had a dry eye since 1983 due to an acoustic neuroma (tumor on the hearing nerve on brain stem). It caused my eye to be dry, which is very painful if not lubricated. This ointment is the ONLY kind that works for me. I use it 24/7. Be aware, it blurs your vision so you really cannot see out of that eye. My right eye does all the work.

The original formulation worked so well for many years. They were out of circulation for a couple of years and finally returned to the market. So I bought 8. Huge mistake. Despite the claim on the package that this is the original formulation in different packaging, the product is absolutely not the same. It is quite runny, in contrast to the Vaseline-like consistency of the original . And it also stings the eyes, unlike the earlier stuff. Maybe this product will work for some people. I just wish they really went back to the original formulation.
