My dog has hypothyroiduism - OMG! This is a fantastic product. My dog has hypothyroiduism. If your dog has this condition, you know what it does to your dog. Dry skin, flaky skin, loss of hair and weight gain, etc. to mention a few. I use the special medicated shampoo which is also a great product, but I still had to shampoo the dog every week or every other week just to control hair loss. I started to give my dog this product, his flaky skin improved so much better and he doesn’t lose his hair as much as he used to. It’s been 4 weeks since I bathed him last and his flaky skin was down to a minimal. My dog is a happy camper as he hates to get wet. He likes the taste, too. He likes salmon dog food, so i guess it’s normal he likes the taste of this product. This product offers natural source of minerals and iodine and supports normal thyroid, healthy skin and coat, normal shedding, and overall health of your dog. I recommend this for any dog that has skin issues. GREAT PRODUCT!! Review: Dogs love it...... - My three y/o Aussie, 52 pounds, eats the same amount of dog food as his 28 pound little brother, and hasn't been able to lose any weight. Plus, he's a very lazy Aussie, and his coat wasn't as shiny as my Mini Aussie's. I thought I'd try a natural iodine supplement to see if he did have a low thyroid, and I've already seen a positive change. He's got more energy and I can feel his ribs a bit easier. It's only been a few weeks, but I'm very pleased. ## Features - PREMIUM ICELANDIC KELP FOR DOGS: Our powdered kelp for dogs is harvested and processed in Northwest Iceland and certified organic by QAI and TUN; our natural kelp supplement for dogs promotes healthy glandular activity to help prevent thyroid issues and contains amino acids, iodine, iron, lignans, and antioxidants to support your pet’s overall health and nutrition - SKIN, COAT & DENTAL HEALTH: This powerful mineral supplement for dogs has been shown to keep their skin and coat in great condition; sea kelp powder added to dog food offers flea and tick repelling properties and also helps with dog dental care by breaking down tartar and plaque buildup to keep your canine’s teeth and gums in excellent health - FASTER RECOVERY & DIGESTIVE SUPPORT: Wholistic sea kelp dog supplement contains high amounts of amino acids for quicker cell and tissue repair which may help your dog recover faster from injury and heal scars more completely; an ideal iron supplement for dogs, it also has high amounts of calcium for bone strength and antioxidants for digestion support - TRUSTED BY PROFESSIONALS: Wholistic Pet Organics has been providing premium pet supplements to veterinarians for over 15 years; our local Bedford, NH, based company is audited and inspected by the NASC, and we’re HACCP and GMP certified in all 50 states - BUY WITH CONFIDENCE: We pride ourselves in using only the highest quality ingredients and confidently stand behind all of our trusted pet products; order your dog kelp today to experience the Wholistic difference, and please feel free to contact us with any questions ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 182 Reviews | ## Images ![Wholistic Pet Organics Sea Kelp: Icelandic Dog Sea Kelp - Organic Kelp Powder with Iodine, Iron, Calcium and Antioxidants - Sea Kelp Supplement for Dogs Teeth, Thyroid Function, Skin and Coat - 1 Lb - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61YVOqrH48L.jpg) ![Wholistic Pet Organics Sea Kelp: Icelandic Dog Sea Kelp - Organic Kelp Powder with Iodine, Iron, Calcium and Antioxidants - Sea Kelp Supplement for Dogs Teeth, Thyroid Function, Skin and Coat - 1 Lb - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71K2VANRcfL.jpg) ![Wholistic Pet Organics Sea Kelp: Icelandic Dog Sea Kelp - Organic Kelp Powder with Iodine, Iron, Calcium and Antioxidants - Sea Kelp Supplement for Dogs Teeth, Thyroid Function, Skin and Coat - 1 Lb - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71r3UVHY-uL.jpg) ![Wholistic Pet Organics Sea Kelp: Icelandic Dog Sea Kelp - Organic Kelp Powder with Iodine, Iron, Calcium and Antioxidants - Sea Kelp Supplement for Dogs Teeth, Thyroid Function, Skin and Coat - 1 Lb - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71Nn8+MjwrL.jpg) ![Wholistic Pet Organics Sea Kelp: Icelandic Dog Sea Kelp - Organic Kelp Powder with Iodine, Iron, Calcium and Antioxidants - Sea Kelp Supplement for Dogs Teeth, Thyroid Function, Skin and Coat - 1 Lb - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81Q+MY-t7TL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: What is the minimum mg of iodine in a tsp of this product?
