Not frozen, shelf stable. They just come to the post office in a big brown box (I don't get mail delivery to the house). If you are lucky enough to have a mailman, I assume he will bring it. They don't require refrigeration.

What is the expiration date if I buy this now in 2020?

Two years, if you buy it on August 2020 you have until August 2022 to use it . I love this liquid hope it is very healthy for your love one. I really recommended.

Can these be used in a J tube?

From my experience this product was used in a G- tube but health care professionals discussed possibly changing it to the J- tube and did not anticipate any potential issues.

Do they have preservatives?

This product is totally organic. Its consistency is superior to other products we tried. I do not see any preservatives listed.
