Shouldn't be necessary to mention, but the item plugs into the socket with a satisfying snap and the male end, too. Update: If your headphones have a mic, this is not for you. For very picky technical reasons, although you will get stereo, there's a phase issue that wipes out the vocals. Go figure.

I got these like 2 years back for my wired headphones before going wireless as an extension plug in piece for my Focusrite which fit nicely & worked perfectly fine!
