I bought these because another one that came with headphones I own did not have a universal fit. It was a proprietary screw thread. These ones just click into place without any threads and they make a solid connection while not introducing any crackle or interference in general into my audio experience. They are good quality and function as advertised. Highly recommended

Shouldn't be necessary to mention, but the item plugs into the socket with a satisfying snap and the male end, too. Update: If your headphones have a mic, this is not for you. For very picky technical reasons, although you will get stereo, there's a phase issue that wipes out the vocals. Go figure.
