I've had surgery on both of my little toes and prefer a wider toe box. These metal "nubs" have been much more effective in stretching my shoes out in the right places than the plastic ones I used for years. The different sizes make shoe stretching customizable, so I don't end up with too much or too little extra room in spots in my shoes.

there a little bigger than plastic ones

My standing shoe stretcher is a shoe dept. antique from the the start of the 20th century. The original plugs were loose as are the ones in this set. Reminds me of the originals. I hardly use the standing stretcher but wanted to have it with all its parts.

I had existing wood stretchers and lost my metal knots. These unfortunately didnt fit. The knobs stems were larger than my wood shie holes. What a waste!!!!
