The other one I tried stuck to the door bottom and made it difficult to maneuver. This one isnt like that at all. It is made of fabric and has some weight to it which is a great feature. The added weight helps hold it down and absorb the cold. When I walk by the door and the draft stopper is on I cant feel ANY cold coming in. It did come with some velcro however I decided I wasnt going to use it as we use the door alot to let my pup in and out for potty breaks so being able to just bend over to move it is easy enough.
