Great small day bag
This is a great small day bag, perfect for day trips. I wanted one that could fit a huge water bottle and this one couldn't, but it does fit a smaller water bottle and is good for shorter outings.

Great every-day cross-body bag!
I love this bag. I'm a lady, but don't let that be a deterrent to any of you menfolk. I'm a practical gal. I don't like big bags, branded bags, bedazzled bags, dainty handbags whose ultimate fate in life is being left behind at some bar, bags covered in fringe or bags with excessive pockets. This bag is simple, of reasonable size, and completely unobtrusive.PROS:I have three rottweilers that I walk and jog with on a regular basis, so it's nice to carry a small bag with me that will fit my keys, wallet, phone, dog bags and treats, and a bottle of water (24oz bottle is probably the ideal fit). I could wear a camelback, but then I'd have to take it on and off to access all the compartments. This bag just swings around from back/side to front for easy access to the main compartments. It sits snugly against me so there's no flopping around when I am jogging or walking at a brisk pace. It stays in place as long as you adjust the strap for a good fit. The canvas material seems durable and the shoulder strap is wide enough not to cut into your shoulders but not so bulky that it's awkward. For a basic, every-day bag, it is a super deal.CONS:The small back pocket can be difficult to access as it is the pocket that lays against your body when wearing it. I would put things in there that you either don't access very often or that are higher-value items (if, say, you are worried about pickpockets while traveling). The strap is probably not long enough for a 6'5" beefy linebacker of a dude. I am 5'4" and it is quite roomy in the strap for me and I could see this working well for a man up to 6' and 200ish lbs, but maybe not much beyond that. The bag is made of canvas and is not waterproof, nor is it a fast-drying material. If you plan to take this hiking in the rain, it will get wet and get all your stuff wet.IMPORTANT TO NOTE:The strap is designed such that the bag lays flat against you with the strap over the opposite shoulder. If you want the bag to rest on or mostly on your back, the strap will be over your right shoulder. If you want the bag to sit upright on the front of your body, the strap will be over the left shoulder. For those of you who have a preferred shoulder, this can feel weird. I am "right shouldered" and plan to wear this mostly on my back so it doesn't bother me, but I can see where it would be really handy to be able to change the side that the bottom of the strap is attached to so that you can carry it however you like over either shoulder.

Second one of this brand, strap a bit shorter, material not as good, but what can you do?
The is the second that I bought of this "brand" and the third one in this size. The first one that I got three years ago was great, used if everyday--but as it was showing wear, I decided to buy a spare. But, like all things from China on Amazon, the brand got discontinued, and I had to find another brand selling pretty much the same thing.Well, the second brand was not as good as the first, in terms of quality and workmanship, and they only sold a larger bag than my original, so I bought it. Strap was thinner and shorter, material not as good, but OK. Then I thought, I'd better get another one of the second to hold as a spare, in case that got discontinued too. Lo and behold, the second brand was discontinued too. So I had to find a third brand, selling pretty much the same thing. The third brand was not as good, as the second (which was not as good as the first). But what can one do? Got the third brand, this one. The large size was not usable for me, because the strap was too short, material not as good, but it was cheap so I used it as a storage bag for some electronics. The smaller one I carried when I did my briefer walks. This reviewed one is of the same brand, but now the strap is a bit shorter, the strap material and overall bag material of lesser quality, along with the zipper and pulls. But what can one do? Sigh. Why can't they make them better and better? All these bags are Made in China, and sold under various brands by different merchants on Amazon, some US based and others based in China. They are like faddish products and seemed ordered and made by huge batches--and each batch is made cheaper and cheaper, with lesser materials and poorer workmanship--if only the reverse were true--but alas this is the way and it seems to be the norm. Eventually, people stop buying because they are of such poor quality, and such is replaced by a fad for something other type of bag, and the cycle repeats.Brands don't mean much--they are commodities with a temporary tag.

This was the perfect small "backpack" for my hubby
This was the perfect small "backpack" for my hubby! He didn't want ANYTHING that would look feminine but wanted something to hold his phone, wallet, keys and change. The material was rugged, distressed and "manley" looking, with lots of space for the things he normally had to continually transfer to and from his work desk, car & house. The only downfall we have discovered is that the strap is too short. I will be purchasing more strap and adding it on to make it long enough to hang nicely or to be turned around to be used more like a backpack, as of now it is too short to do that and hugs him too tight. He is 5'11" and about 225 lbs. He works out and has very broad shoulders. For now he just puts all his things in it and carry's it around rather then all the individual items. He likes it!

run some errands very light i would recommend to those that don't want anything in your pockets ...
When I first opened the package, I noticed that the bag was small i tried to put over my shoulder but could not so i pulled the strap so i can stretch so i could put it over my shoulder and it did it. If you think for one minute you can put a ipad, notebook, or book, it only carry keys, bottle of water the 24 oz, Chapsticks anything small. it is only for those who travel light, take a hike, run some errands very light i would recommend to those that don't want anything in your pockets that why i am giving a 4 stars.
