You will see three batteries; remember the + and - position (take a photo), then replace the 3xLR44 (or AG13) batteries, press batteries to push them in place (start With sided batteries then push 3rd one between them), slide down gently the cover. **Q: Would this device work on a garage door, most door alarms just go off when you open the door, I want an alarm for if I leave the door open? Thanks** A: Please note that this is not made for a garage door because it requires a flat surface and less than 2cm between alarm and magnet sensor, but if you are a DYI expert, you can adapt it for garage use.
