Fantastic little starter set, especially for the price. Looks so much more elegant than the price would suggest.

It was a little surprising to see that the plates and the sauce plates are made of different materials. The plates feel like a plastic material of some kind. It does make it feel like it’s a mismatched set. Other than that, it fits our needs and is good for the cost.

I looked at a lot of sushi plate sets and some were very pricey. I preferred to eat sushi at a restaurant but with the Pandemic, I've had to order to go, so I wanted to bring the restaurant set up home. This set was appealing to me since came with two sets of sushi plate, two small sauce plates, two sets of nice wooded chopsticks with stands and sushi mat for making sushi rolls, although I'd like to leave that to the professionals. The small sauce plates were wrapped in beautiful Japanese style cloth. And the price for the set was very reasonable.

Absolutely adorable. Was a great little gift this year. Great quality and so pretty. Has all the basic necessities needed to make sushi rolls at home.Most local sushi eats have been closed since the pandemic. It was nice to be able to make delicious, home-quality sushi. This package was awesome to use. Absolutely loved it, would order again.

We are new to this sushi making so can't compare it to other kits and experiences but we are happy with the product.

It blows my mind that people are giving negative reviews because the plates aren't porcelain. Do the math. What do you expect for the price!?I think this set is great, and a great deal. Highly recommend!

dont see the problem with the negative reviews yeah there melamine try going to the japan centre and buying porcilin ones you will have to add another £50-£60 on thought great for the price

Anders als in der Beschreibung angegeben ist das Sushiset nicht vollständig aus Porzellan und Bambus gefertigt. Die kleinen Schüsseln sind aus Porzellan, die großen Teller sind allerdings aus Melamin gefertigt (Siehe Bild). Die Teller sagen zwar, dass sie bis zu 120 Grad hitzebeständig sind, es besteht jedoch die Gefahr, dass bei Melamin bereits ab 70 Grad Giftstoffe freigesetzt werden können. Daher habe ich das Set wieder zurückgeschickt. Schade, denn der Rest des Sets hat mir gut gefallen. Da es sich hier aber nicht um einen Fehler eines einzelnen Teils, sondern eine komplett fehlerhafte Produktbeschreibung mit potenziell gesundheitsschädlichen Auswirkungen handelt, ist mehr als ein Stern nicht drinn.

Even ordered a second pair (to invite more family over for homemade sushi). Quality is good.
