I’ve been very happy with this portable monitor overall. It works well with my laptop, the picture quality is clear, and it’s been a great second screen for work and travel. Setup was simple, and it has performed reliably. My only complaint is that it doesn’t always stay in place on the built-in stand, so I occasionally have to readjust it. Other than that small issue, it’s a great value and I would still recommend it to anyone looking for a portable monitor.

Needed a portable monitor to use while travelling or when not set up at my desk, as my job is much easier with two screens. I picked the KYY as it was priced well, had good reviews, and seemed to meet what I was looking for. I have had it for a while now and am really happy with the purchase. I was looking at another brand that was like double-triple the cost, and it really is just not necessary to spend the extra money when its essentially the same thing. The KYY monitor is great. The size is really nice; it is compact and lightweight. It comes with everything you need (minus an actual carrying case) - various plugs and a protective cover/stand case thing. I am able to connect and extend the screen very easily. The picture quality is great. It also has volume and sound capabilities. It was super easy to set up. Given its light and thin, compact, etc., it is easy to travel with. Seems to be pretty durable and has held up well.

Worked as I expected. Great clarity and color - I would highly recommend this travel monitor. Very easy setup and connected right away. I was glad to have the external power as my laptop does not have the lighting port.

This monitor is a fantastic addition to my home office! The fact that it comes ready to plug and play is amazing. The magnetic felt cover doubles as a mounting stand with a few tilt options. Feels like a tablet, with a laptop screen size. If using USBC connection power cable is not needed (as long as the device plugged into is compatible). I connected it to my HP laptop as an extended monitor, with the HDMI cable and the power supply. Then to my Mac mini with the USBC connection and is compatible as a 3rd monitor and the computer still has the capability to connect the side car allowing for 4 extended monitors! The display is 1080p and it looks great! Super light if carrying with you anywhere. The only thing is that the integrated speakers aren’t great. But they do have an auxiliary port. Does not connect via Bluetooth or wireless. Plug in only.

I bought this monitor 1.5 years ago, and I’m writing this review because this thing is a beast. I have dropped this thing a ridiculous many times, and it still works and looks great. I mainly use it for work so I don’t have much to say about picture quality but it’s perfect for my needs. It’s really light, easy to set up, and like I said, pretty indestructible. A couple negatives — the sound is awful. Don’t use it as a speaker. Also the case magnets are pretty weak which contributes to the drops, but that’s probably more on me and my computer setup.

This is a fantastic portable second monitor. Sharp picture and good color consistent with laptop display. Made working on my laptop much more productive during a recent relocation. Adds a little weight but fits in laptop bag with laptop. All necessary cables included. Great value for the price. Definitely recommend.

Loved the packaging - sturdy, secure, and reusable for moving. The monitor is clear, and is sleek and professional. Love the included protective cover that doubles as a stand - thank you! Really appreciated the thought used in including the connectors - you have a connector for any experience you might need. The display is clear, has a glare-resistant finish, and great clarity. The weight isn't as heavy as I thought it was when I first picked up the box, but it does add a significant wait to the backpack or transport case you're using. If it could be lighter, it would be a bonus. I felt confident using it during a client presentation and it set up well in our space. Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase, the quality, and the professionalism it commands.

I'd long used a beefy triple-monitor UHD set-up for gaming and coding, but as I've not been gaming as much I found I was really only using two monitors, and often the second one was more for having youtube or netflix going in the background. I decided to downsize my set-up and stick with one UHD monitor and something small on the side, and this is the first small monitor I've purchased for this purpose. I will actually likely be returning it, but not for any fault of this device, but simply that I didn't know what I wanted prior to purchase and now that I've held/used a portable monitor, I think I want something different. So, about this device: * Portability - It's incredibly light and slim, it definitely meets the "portability" definition. The power and menu buttons are quite small, but in particular the menu button I feel "pokes out" a tiny bit too much, and I'd be concerned about it being damaged or pushed into the unit if I were to put it in a bag that got jostled around. The "smart cover" (what makes a cover smart? I honestly don't know, but it's just a cover that doubles as a stand) seems to do a good job to protect the unit from day-to-day scuffs and scratches, but I wouldn't imagine it would do anything against a fall or direct impact from something. If I were really moving this around a lot, I'd probably invest in a heavy duty case. * Ports, I/O, Hook-up - With the ability to use HDMI or USB-C, I like that this can be switched between my actual PC (with a 3080 in it at time of use) and my Surface Pro 8 without needing special adapters. However, it would be an improvement if in both modes you could only use one cable. That is, with the right type of device USB-C can deliver both the power and the display signals, but if you are using HDMI you will always need to also use USB-C for power. HDMI as a technology is capable of transmitting power, so I would have liked to see both modes of transmission also be capable of powering the device. * Sound - I hadn't realized when purchasing it has its own built in speakers, but that's a plus to me as well. The sound isn't great, you won't be getting any Dolby Digital Surround from this, but it's a nice little option if you need some sound on the go and don't want to go through managing a bunch of Bluetooth devices, other cables, etc. just to hear a video or something. It would not, in my opinion, meet any gamer's standards of 'good audio,' though. Nice in a pinch, that's about it. * Visuals - It seems pretty good. After being on UHD for years it is difficult for me to really judge 1080p fairly, but I have no big gripes with the visuals. Differences in color, especially in ranges approaching dark greys/blacks, are difficult to make out except at maximum brightness, but it's not experience-breaking. I feel the range of brightness available is decent; you can make it quite dim to protect your eyes in a dark room, or can get it bright enough to see in a well-lit room. I do not, however, think it would be very usable in direct sunlight. * The case - This is actually one of the main reasons I'm returning it is that I don't like the case that comes with it and would rather just get a different device than buy an additional case. The case is fine for protection and viewing the device if you are okay with "looking down", but even at the 'most vertical' kickstand position the screen was nowhere near as vertical as I wanted, and I had to tilt my head down quite a bit to view properly (something I'm avoiding after some ergonomic-caused neck issues). That said, it does fit well with many gooseneck clamps made for tablets, as you can see I am using in my attached picture. (You'll also note that I am using it "upside down", which Windows allows you to do but I am not sure if you will be able to do that with other OS. I am using it in this configuration so that the ports/cables are behind my monitor rather than poking out near the wall.) I think that this is a perfectly good device with no major objective flaws given the price for the product, but subjectively I think something different is going to be for me.

Lo uso solo como segunda pantalla para mí trabajo y ha funcionado correctamente, la resolución de la pantalla en buena, no pesa, trae un protector que se usa como soporte, no le tuve que configurar nada, al conectarla con mi lap top en automático ya tenía mi segunda pantalla lista para...

Excelente llegar en tiempo

Me gustó la calidad de la imagen y lo fácil que fue conectarlo a la computadora. No hay que instalar ningún programa solo basta conectarlo. Hay dos opciones de conexión 1) de conector tipo C a C 2) de mini HDMI a HDMI + cargador tipo C . Me resulta muy práctico el tipo C ya que mi laptop trae este conector y solo necesito un cable. Lo único que no me encantó fue el peso, la estaba comparando con una steren más pequeña, y la otra pesaba super poquito comparada con esta. Pero considerando que es más grande, asumo que está bien. La recomiendo totalmente ya que en juntas con cliente te ves profesional proyectando, o durante las juntas es posible proyectar una sola pantalla y hacer notas en otra.

La calidad de materiales me sorprendió, siendo de los monitores portátiles más baratos que encontré, pensaba que iba a tener materiales de baja calidad y no es así. Con luz de día más o menos directa me parece que si le falta un poco de brillo aunque lo considero más personal, prácticamente cualquier pantalla con luz natural directa es susceptible….. me gustó que además del puerto HDMI tiene dos puertos USB-C así que puede conectar a tu dispositivo con uno de ellos y si quieres conectar ya sea tu dispositivo o la pantalla a la energía eléctrica (lo cual aumenta el brillo máximo de la pantalla), puedes utilizar el segundo puerto USBC del monitor y así alimentar ambos dispositivos a la vez! Me parece una excelente compra y opcion de tener un monitor extra que puedes llevar a todos lados!
