I returned the sm. gorilla gun as glue sticks melted in top well-does this one have the same problem?

My first time using the full sized gun it melted a stick in the feeding area. Was only plugged in for 20-30 minutes while I was preparing my next item for glue. After cleaning it for a while now no sticks feed. Not impressed . The fact that I found another person with the same issue on the minigun makes me think that gorilla guns are not a good choice. Probably will go back to my thermogrip 208, Which leaks from the tip constantly. However thermal grip has lasted me decades even though it leaks. I will probably go with a brand that is renowned for its tools.

60 watts as shown on the package (I had to look for it) :)

Will it work if I’m to glue felt on shirt?

They make specialized glue sticks for use on fabrics. Might want to check reviews on those because regular glue sticks will not work too well for your first intended purpose
