My blood sugar readings have always been high in the morning and recently were staying high for a long time after breakfast so I had to skip lunch and only eat breakfast and dinner. I decided to start the mastering diabetes diet and add in amla powder. It took a little more than a week for it to become highly effective but once it did my morning blood sugars were consistently in a healthy range under 100. My spikes after meals were much lower and much shorter-lived. I get to eat more food and have less blood glucose issues because of it. I had coffee with oatmeal and fruit for breakfast the other day and two hours later my blood glucose levels were back to normal range. That would have been unheard of before changing my diet and taking the amla supplement. During the week or so that I was taking it and it was concentrating in my body it did also help with controlling blood sugar spikes but now I can take less, one small scoop in the morning, and it's effective for 24 hours. I have even had to start slowly reducing my long-acting insulin injection! The Flavour is definitely good. Taste basically like unsweetened hibiscus tea. I take one scoop in a small shot glass mixed with cold water in the morning before breakfast. Smooth and easy going down. Anyone complaining about the flavor is probably just too used to Sweet colas or something of the like. After researching other amla brands on Amazon I went with the amla green because of the high quality. Some Brands May seem cheaper but if you read the reviews carefully you will see that the quality does not match Amla green. I feel secure that I won't be getting any contaminants when I order amla green. The price might seem a little high but I consider it a good deal. It actually works! unlike other prescription medication I was previously on. And it not only works on lowering my blood sugar but it has no side effects like the prescription drugs and some studies show that it actually has positive effects on your cholesterol levels and cardiovascular health as well as your diabetes health. The fact that the product works, is effective, taste good, and is a contaminant-free Whole Food plant-based product makes the price completely reasonable. I also strongly recommend getting the mastering diabetes book or watching some of their videos on YouTube. Definitely moving to a Whole Foods plant-based diet and eliminating dietary fats was a key component in helping me get my blood sugars under control. In the weeks that I was starting if I cheated and ate too many nuts then I could definitely see the effect on my blood sugars the next day. They went higher and stayed higher for longer and I had to take more amla to bring them down. Once I completely eliminated that final cheat then I could reduce the amount of Amla I am taking each day and my blood sugars are much more stable. I'm truly blown away by this product and cannot recommend it with more enthusiasm! If you were having any problems with Dawn phenomenon, high glucose levels in the morning, or post-meal spikes that last for more than 2 hours then amla powder, specifically amla green tea with hibiscus, can help you get your blood sugars in the healthy range and keep them there for longer. In just one week my blood sugars have been so good my 3 Month average has dropped Five Points!

I'm using this product to lower my cholesterol. Haven't had my blood tested yet, so I won't know for awhile. But even if it doesn't lower my cholesterol, it tastes great with lemon + ginger. I'm very pleased with it.

Tastes good and I drink it 3x per day. I'll be getting bloodwork done next month and if I see that my A1C and blood sugars have dropped, I will return and give it a 5.

I am a regular customer of Amla Green. Was excited when they advertised it as a Prime Day Deal. Great antioxidant!

I simply put amount (spoon enclosed) suggested into a Pom drink and enjoy with my lunch. Have also tried it with glass of water and the taste is mild and pleasant. I am a senior citizen who can still run inclines so something's definitely working.

Helps lower bad cholesterol and high blood sugar. Drink every day. Not a great taste, but that's a small price to pay for the benefits. Now comes in 3 flavors.

The flavor of the tea is quite good; however, the powder does not totally melt and makes the tea gritty which makes it difficult for me to drink. I would use it out, but won't purchase again. I'm so disappointed because I really wanted to make this tea a regular part of my diet.
