I have only been sewing every now and again for the past couple of years, so there are a few things that I have yet to need... but I know that as I learn more about sewing that this item will be even more valuable to me. Also *by L***N on November 26, 2014* After I ordered this product, and before it arrived, I read a lot of negative reviews on this product. After getting mine, I checked it out and found that a lot of the negative reviews were mostly because of user error (tools are too small, tools don't go back in place, etc.). When, in fact, each tool has its own little hole to go into and everything fits back nicely. Also, thanks to one positive reviewer sharing this tidbit) the case for the small tools doubles as a handle (there is a place to attach the tools in the top of the lid). I also read that the seam ripper wasn't sharp, but mine is. The only thing that I would say is misleading is that this tool is sold as a "12 in 1", but the 12th "tool" is actually just a larger or medium safety pin (I find this funny)... Best advice I can give you all is to read the description thoroughly and also read both positive and negative reviews, because sometimes the negative reviews are user error or someone having a bad day (or some people are truly unhappy and negative).
