I walk about 6 mile a day and on some of the toughest terrain I don't have many side walks and when I do they are not in the best of conditions and a regular tip seems to end up hanging up and I call it "My pig stabber". It ends up throwing off my gait. This hook just rolls over stuff but still finds obstacles. My last one after lots of wear literally blew up when I was releasing my cane out. I was not aware of its worn condition. It seemed to be hollow inside and I thought due to its weight compared to other tips I used it must be solid but is not. I like to have lighter tip but this provides me with long wear under hard road conditions.

Using it to help me prepare for a 5K, I use a standard tip cane 100 percent of the time, but they are hard to run with catching every crack, so I've done some adapting to make this work as I start my running program.

I use a cane all the time and this lasted only 6 weeks. The pavement wore it down very quickly and then it fell apart.
