not the best quality compared to 3M but this item meets all new ANSI safety requirements
Z87.1 was the old ANSI safety standard for face shields in our workplace. New standard that came out is Z87.1+...this is the only face shield brand that we could find that currently meets the new impact standards. It's not as sturdy and as well designed as the 3M faces shields we use to use/but this comes stamped with the Z87.1+ standard. Hopefully 3M will get their testing completed and can update their products with the new standard. The Sellstrom series shields are much more flexible than the more rigid 3M design. I prefer the more rigid plastic. Also, the headgear on the Sellstorm design is not as comfortable as the current 3M design...just my opinion...
