Peet's Coffee Ground Coffee Dark Roast, Organic French Roast, 18 Ounces

peets is quality & fresh & bold both whole bean AND ground. My Fav Goto coffee both caff and Swiss Water processed Decaf. I go between Major Dickenson & French Roast. The "Major D" MIGHT be a tad mellower though richly bold & never bitter. Neither roast becomes bitter no matter how strong a coffee water ratio i use, whether it be pour over, French Press, Kcups, Mokapot, or even my rarely used drip coffee maker. I admit however, I have never used a standard percolator. Oh, last but not least, peets does not get bitter after ditting on my dingle cup coffee warmer for 2-3 hours, though maybe a bit richer thicker tasting. Wayy more stable tthan other brand upper quality blends & roasts. Well worth the extra few cents cost per cup.

A strong and delicious dark roast! Great value and price especially for being organic. At the moment I am liking very much Seattle's best organic dark roast. And, this one from Peet's the18oz I just received in the mail. It's excellent. If you are a prime member you can save in the shipping of these kind of items. The stores that have this kind of coffee is sometimes much more expensive. This whole bag is going to be great 👍

We started buying this after Amazon stopped making their 365 coffee organic. Coffee is one of the heaviest sprayed crops, and my wife gets sick to her stomach if she drinks non-organic coffee because she’s allergic to what is sprayed on the crops, which works its way into the beans themselves while the grow, and then into your morning coffee. I wouldn’t even know this was in fact a problem with non-organic coffee if it wasn’t for my wife’s allergy, which is actually incredibly helpful to us because now we know which foods to avoid, simply because she cannot eat them. ANYWAY! This coffee is really good for the price! It’s a bit on the robust side if you like that. Not like a breakfast blend, but a little stronger. We enjoy it and my wife doesn’t get sick, so we know it’s organic because of her built in “non-organic detector.”

I’m a total foodie when it comes to coffee, and I’m honestly hard to impress. I’ve tried expensive “clean” and mold-free coffees, single-origin beans from all over, Whole Foods brands, you name it. Some tasted flat, some made me jittery or anxious, and a lot just weren’t worth the price. This Peet’s Organic French Roast genuinely surprised me. The flavor is rich, dark, smooth, slightly chocolatey, and actually full-bodied instead of tasting burnt or bland like a lot of dark roasts do. Is it the greatest coffee I’ve ever had? No. But for the price, it beats several high-end brands I’ve tried that cost almost twice as much. I’m also pretty sensitive to coffee that feels “off,” and this one gave me none of the weird jittery feeling I’ve gotten from other brands. Just a solid, satisfying cup of coffee that actually tastes like coffee should. This hard-to-please person is pleased.

BEST COFFEE TO EVER EXSIST!! Did not hurt my gut, the strength of the caffeine was good. Sooth and very tasteful. Just the BEST!

This product with nearing expiring date. The coffee dripped from coffee powder tasted bitter and lost its original aroma. Furthermore it is not allowed to refund.
