Review: Bit more to them than previous FiveFingers shoes. - Sole feels "deeper" which may be better for hiking. Fits well as matched to previous pair of 45's. Laces are a faff compared to Velcro, need slackening down to 3rd cross before foot fits in enuf to guide toes in correctly, but other than that, tidy and well constructed. Previous pair is 5 years old, and after some washtub trauma, has only required a little tlc/glue on the toes, and these look equally, if not better put together. Time will tell, will edit if needed.

I love those shoes, very comfortable, easy to get used to and it feels amazing. I can't say anything about back pain as I walk with so many other shoes on the day-to-day, but I used it for hiking, walking on the beach and in the woods and it was great. I had to order one size bigger than other shoes.
