Invision Monitor Arm Bracket Mount for 24-40 Inch Screens VESA 75-100mm Ergonomic Height Adjustable Desktop Clamp Tilts Extends 2-15kg (MX450)

Bought this arm to support an Alienware 38" Ultrawide monitor which weighs 7kg. You get a very heavy and solid arm for a very good price. Assembly wasn't too hard, cable management would have been a bit fiddly with the plastic brackets mounted on the arms, but I found I couldn't really use this because the cables come almost right out of the bottom of the neck of this particular screen, so I just tucked them round the back and used the cable guide on the base to secure them behind my desk. I've got the base clamped to a solid wooden desk about 1" thick with no through hole, and the large solid base means it feels completely secure. The arm happily supports the monitor and allows me to easily adjust its position while freeing up tons of desk space compared with the enormous original Alienware stand. The only slight issue is the pivot adjustment which needs to be done up very tight with a large, curved screen like this that has its centre of gravity relatively far in front of the attachment point. I've had it mounted for over a month now and it hasn't drooped or needed any adjustment in this time, but I think anything much larger or heavier will likely need a better (and far more expensive) arm than this one. Still, it's a great option for anything up to a 38" screen, and really exceptional value for money compared with the recommended Dell or Ergotron options.

It’s a pleasure to work with something so well designed and well thought through. I was a bit daunted about putting this together, drilling into an existing desktop, to hold a relatively heavy monitor. However the instructions were super clear with clear diagrams and emphasis on critical things to note and “pro tips” to make the most of the product. The resulting setup works exactly as I had hoped and as described and I would 200% recommend this product. Things I liked: - sturdiness/ solidity (feels like it will last) - ease of assembly - clarity of instructions - range of motion - ease of adjustment (eg tightening or loosening the piston action) - good design eg things fit together the right way and I can’t imagine it is possible to put together incorrectly - value for money - cable management

I was looking for monitor arms that would be fairly flexible (as opposed to the more rigid "straight pole" one my smaller work monitor is on) and would hold the mighty, heavy chonkasaurus that is the 32" Samsung Odyssey G7; this one had good reviews, and although it was a little more expensive than some others that claimed to hold the monitor's weight, given the size of the thing I decided to go for the safer option in this. The box arrived with a huge dent in the side, and half the contents were already unwrapped, so I suspect I might have gotten a returned one, which is a bit disappointing having paid full price for it "new" but everything seemed to be present, so on we went. Assembly is quite straightforward. If you're looking to install with a big monitor like this, I'd definitely try to get a friend to help - I managed to do it on my own, but it's a nerve-wracking experience. However, the arm itself feels pretty sturdy and hefty, so I'm not worried it's going to suddenly snap. Most of the joints are fine - the gas-assisted lifting arm is really smooth and once I tweaked the tension with the supplied allan key, it works precisely how I would like. Raising and lowering the monitor easily. The one exception - and this is the reason it lost a star in my rating - is the tilt mechanism. Having finally got it set strongly enough to hold the weight of this monitor, it tilts forward (down) easily if you push, which is good, but tilting back up is incredibly stiff, and requires a two-handed grip (top and bottom) of the monitor and is very jerky and so hard to get into a precise position. (Tip: go a bit further than you want, then use the easier down-tilt for finesse of position.) It makes an alarming creaking noise when you tilt it up, like the bolt is really struggling against friction, and slackening it doesn't help because then it just tilts forward on its own and doesn't support the monitor. (Also, the bolt for the monitor tilt is so stiff to adjust that it actually wrecked the supplied allen key completely; I was fortunate to have one of my own in my toolbox which is a bit sturdier and was able to do the job, but beware of this.) So on the whole, it's a really good, sturdy, useful addition to your desk space. Just don't expect a nice easy adjustment on the tilt if you have a monitor with any real weight to it, which is disappointing considering I paid a bit more specifically because this one was rated to deal with such a weight level.

This isn't the first Invision monitor arm I have purchased, I had used the MX150 on an older 24" monitor for many years without any issues, so they were my first choice for a replacement for my son's inflexible pole mounted arm. His current stand was impossible to adjust easily on the fly, and he uses his 32" Samsung TV/Monitor for his pc for school video sessions, his TV and gor hos xbox. It needs to be able to move easily in every direction, especially tilt, which we couldn't do with his old stand. This Invision MX450 required a bit more assembly but it is very straight forward. More importantly it does everything we wanted and is rock solid. The gas strut makes moving the screen ao easy, I can position it one handed. It tilts to a much greater degree than I realised, which is very handy given the wide range of movement available. The reach is also much longer than the previous multi-jointed pole mount arm. It didn't require much adjustment to the tension screws to get the balance prefect. This MX450 arm gives my son more freedom to see his screen from his bed or while sat in his wheelchair at a completely different height and angle. I wish I had bought it sooner, worth every penny.

In my opinion this is a good product and at a good price. Be aware that it is rather large: the top section of the arm measures 12 1/2 inches from swivel point to swivel point. You need to have room for it depending on where it is installed. The monitor pictured is an older Dell 32 inch that weighs nearly 10kg. I was sceptical whether it would hold this but it does without problems. I've had it installed for a few weeks and the monitor is not sinking down at all. You have allen keys to adjust the tightness on the joints. The only feature I can't really use for a monitor of this size is the tilt. You have to tighten the joint enough or the monitor's weight pulls the bottom under and angles it toward the desk. This is not a fault of the arm. It means the tilt can be adjusted but it is a bit stiff. The instructions do warn you to tighten this joint when using a heavier monitor. In all other ways it gives great movability to the monitor and improved my workflow. If you need to sit further away from your desk you can bring the monitor forward. Because of the size of the arm you have a good range, more than I need personally. Angling the monitor horizontally (swivel) is easily done from the front and smooth. Moving it back or forward I do from behind the monitor. Doing so from the front is possible but awkward with a monitor of this size. This probably would be easier on smaller, lighter monitors. One of the other things I was wary of using it with a heavy monitor was the fixing to the desktop. As shown in the photo it is fixed using the standard clamp with no drilling or screws involved, and there is no play or looseness in the clamp when adjusting the arm. It feels rock solid. Installation: Good instructions are provided. For smaller monitors (<32 inch) you probably get away with single person installation. For mine it was a bit tricky since you are told to fix the arm in place before attaching the monitor. You insert the srews into the back of the monitor leaving enough space to slot the arm in, then tighten them up. For a large monitor it is really a two-handed job. In conclusion I'm happy with it and it has stayed in place to replace the original stand.

Was a bit worried that this wouldn't be that good, because the monitor arms with the good reps are really expensive, but this is great. Has transformed my desk, and I bought another one as I have two monitors. Possibly could have got the cheaper MX200, as my monitors aren't massively heavy, but I thought it would be worth spending a bit more to get the MX450 (this one), which seems a more quality arm all around, and I think I probably made the right decision despite it being more expensive. Installing it is okay, there's the usual bit of educated guesswork you have to do with most budget Asian products, and the usual having to read each bit of the instructions a few times before you realise how it works, but it's on the better side as far as instructions go. Nothing too weird in regards to how it fits together. You may have to move the desk clamp around a bit on the desk to find the best spot for your setup, and if you're not extra-strong you may need a friend to help you here (or else unscrew the monitor every time you move the clamp, which would be a bit laborious, but you may have no choice). It's a bit unclear as to which bolts you use early on, but if you do the wrong ones it doesn't mess anything up, you just undo them and put the right ones in. Good quality parts, strong and all in alignment. Note that there's two Allen-key adjustment points (up-down and tilt), this isn't that clear in the instructions. Overall, I'm pleasantly surprised and hoping I haven't jinxed it with this good review.

This purchase was unexpected. I bought a 34 inch ultrawide monitor as an Amazon warehouse purchase, but it came with an incomplete stand! After some discussion with Amazon they gave me a refund enough to buy this stand as a replacement. I had to mount this on the back of my desk, which has a steel frame and a glass top. Quite a common desk style. The clamp will not actually mount on such a desk directly, but I found that putting a piece of 2 by 2 under the desk I could use the clamp. This works very well. (I will post some pictures later). If you have a standard wooden desk top you will be fine. I found the 2 by 2 discarded at a nearby building site. Assembly was a bit harder than I expected. I think the instructions could have been clearer, but there are not a lot of parts so it all fits together quite logically with limited head scratching. I would still suggest the company make a trip to IKEA to look at how much clearer instructions can be. It works VERY well. Mostly I do not need to move the monitor around, but the arm allows for a great range of movement. Forward, backward, up and down and around. The monitor can be tilted too, but I think you should spend more if that is a feature you want to use frequently. The arm is large enough that I can make the monitor vertical if I want. I like that the monitor is not sitting on the desk -- it gives me a lot more space (my desk is small). It feels very sturdy. I give it five stars because I think that for this much money you could not expect anything better for a large monitor.

Ich habe mir den arm geholt, um einen 34“ curved Bildschirm von HP daran zu befestigen. Der Arm wiegt ohne Standfuß etwa 8kg. - der Aufbau der Monitorhalterung war kinderleicht und die Anleitung ist sehr gut geschrieben. Im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Marken, liest sich die Anleitung flüssig und ist nicht voller Übersetzungsfehler. Das macht es bedeutend angenehmer! - die Halterung macht einen sehr hochwertigen Eindruck. - der Bildschirm wird in jeder Position perfekt gehalten. Ich nutze die Halterung, damit ich den Bildschirm hinter die Tischkante bekomme und dadurch mehr Abstand zu meinen Augen erreiche. Das funktioniert ausgezeichnet. Und der Bildschirm bleibt in der eingestellten Position.

Compré este brazo para monitor porque quería quitar el pie original de la pantalla y ganar más espacio en la mesa. Después de casi un mes de uso, la verdad es que estoy muy satisfecho con la compra. El montaje me pareció muy sencillo y rápido. Una vez instalado, el brazo se nota robusto, estable y cómodo de usar. El monitor queda bien sujeto y permite tener el escritorio mucho más despejado, algo que se agradece bastante si trabajas, estudias o juegas muchas horas delante del ordenador. Como único punto mejorable, al mover el monitor hacia arriba se nota algo duro, incluso ajustando las tuercas. No es un gran problema, pero sí hay que hacer un poco más de fuerza de la esperada en ese movimiento concreto. En general, me parece un producto muy recomendable si quieres ganar espacio en el escritorio y tener una configuración más limpia y cómoda. Por calidad, estabilidad y facilidad de montaje, le doy 5 estrellas.

I’m using it for 1,5 years already and I had zero issues with it, the range of it’s adjustment is amazing!

J’ai commandé de bras pour faire de la place sur mon bureau, Mais surtout parce que malgré mon jeune âge, j’ai souvent fort mal à la nuque en jouant. ✅ avantages 1) Depuis ce bras, je peux jouer 8 heures consécutives sans avoir le dos qui craque ou la nuque douloureuse 👌🏻 2) l’installation est facile et l’a prit environ 2h en prenant mon temps et en rangeant mes câbles. 3) j’ai un écran ASUS 24 » et j’ai descendu le torque du bras au minimum, il est donc maniable. Il ne descend pas avec le temps🖐🏻. Il garde bien la tension. De plus, il ne fait aucun bruit, il est très silencieux 🤫 4) dans la vidéo je secoue le bureau (étant donné que les bras ont tendance à beaucoup bouger) Et malgré ça, mon écran ne bouge pas beaucoup. Le bras est très rigide 👌🏻 ❌ inconvénients: - Prévoyez de la place derrière votre bureau pour ne pas abîmer. - il y a un petit caoutchouc devant, je ne sais pas si il y a une possibilité d’ajouter un usb dans le pied, Mais je n’ai pas trouvé l’info. Cela dit, je ne le prend pas en compte dans ma note étant donné que ni le constructeur ni le vendeur n’en parle 🙂 En conclusion: c’est un bon bras d’écran qui comporte toute les qualités que je cherchais et d’avantages. Il est de très bonne qualité. J’en suis très content et je le recommande. 🙂 30/03/2024: l’écran n’a toujours pas bougé, le bras tient très bien 👌🏻 Je le recommande vivement.
