Nicor Lighting 10-120 Recessed LED Step Light

The media could not be loaded.  Glad to see these at this price, they work as one would expect - there is a metal bracket that holds a c7 socket and with 2 wires - hot (black), neutral (white) you attach the ground wire to the green screw. Fits in standard single gang box. Has both vertical and horizontal paint-able covers. Perfect for my application and what I was looking for. See video. The alternative was buying a low-voltage transformer and similar low-voltage lighting louver kits at $15 to $30 a piece. Note: - these are most likely not recommended for outdoor applications, however I treated them prior and they are water tight (except for the louvers) and they are in a covered area. For the price you cannot beat this.Update: I ordered these when they were $9.99 - I see that they raised the price to $14.99. I would contact the seller and ask them to give you the $9.99 price. $14.99 is overpriced for these things.

They work great however the wrong face plate sent. The one on picture displaying downward was what i expected but received a vertical one. Unable to locate the correct plate.

Light is as expected for replacement of same. However, listing clearly states shipped with two faceplates, one vertical and one horizontal. Did not come with two faceplates, only the vertical ones. Naturally, my installation requires horizontal. Picture posted in listing is with the horizontal faceplate. Either manufacturer or Amazon needs to get their act together.

I have about 10 of these. In five years only one has failed and it was replaced under warranty. So far so good.

they look cheap

We have two lights with horizontal face plates and needed two more. The pictures and description shows both faceplate but it only comes with vertical! Will be sending these back!
