I waited to write this review for months, because a lot of the other reviews had me concerned. I am going to give my totally honest review.... Drum roll... They rock!! The vegpods pictured are the very same ones I used upon first opening this little product in March (it is now August). And I can say without a doubt, they are still 100% usable. And I still have a whole container of them waiting. Which is great, because that's a fantastic value for the cost I spent. I'm going to be honest, I am the worst kind of customer? I don't give two flying partridges about instructions. I wash these with little baby wipe towels instead of soap and water. I sometimes forget to put them on the bag. I find them in my covers and toss them into the bag. I've even lost the buggers for a week, no bag. And they still work fine? Only one of them is starting to tear a bit, but it still works like a dream. Now I will say, they are not 100% soundproof. My partner snores like a wildebeest, and these don't block 100% of the sound. Which suits my purposes functionally well. I don't need them to block all of the sound. I need to be able to hear at least a little bit of white sound to fall asleep, but it does well enough with snoring. I know that if I molded them a bit more, which I have done, it will block all of the sound as they are made to fit and are moldable. However, i don't want them to do that, because again... Worst kind of customer. So the fact that they are moldable is a huuuuuge plus plus plus. They come out of the ear pretty easy, and their appearance is as described. The bag does a lot to keep them going and going and going!! I am confident that they will continue to last and help me get a good night's sleep. I will also add, that I do NOT use them every night. But I have used them for long weeks and months at a time with no issue.

These earplugs are easy to use, very comfortable and very effective. I am wearing them while sleeping because my husband snores and they work very well.

fits to ear, and reduces sound better than other regular ear plugs on the market (~70-80%). doesn’t fall out for me, I have smaller ears. would buy again and use with over ear noise cancelling headphones to make sure there is no noise at all.

I'm a drummer and playing mostly everyday for many years, I have a little bit of ringing in my ears (tinnitus). I've been using the foam earplugs and really press them in there as far as possible and then I use Vic Firth studio/drummer headphones that fit tightly around your ears blocking out all a good amount of outside noise while still being able to hear the music that I'm playing. Eventually, those foam ear plugs would slowly start sliding out which is not a huge deal because I would just press them back it place. These silicone gel ear plugs just takes noise silencing and ear protection to another lever (a much higher level that is)! You roll them into a little ball and slowly insert them into your ear canal. I usually use my little finger since it's a perfect fit for my ear "hole"! You gently press it in and make sure that the entire boarder of your ear canal is covered with the gel ear plugs and not loose. They deaden so much sound but you can still faintly hear things! I've never had anything that does this so well in the past. They do eventually start slowly sliding out a little bit but not as much as the foam ones and they are much easier to just press them back in and continue playing! I also get probably between 4-6 uses out of each pair. Just rinse them off with warm water and a touch of Dawn and pad dry them and they're ready to go again. Great invention! Decent price at $10.74 w/tax and free delivery with Prime for 12 gel plugs. I'll definitely have these on my permanent drumming re-order list like sticks!

I contantly struggle with finding ear plugs that either won't hurt my ears or irritate them after wearing for a few hours, but these are so comfortably and don't hurt or irritate my ears at ALL. I have tried upwards of 10 other kinds and these are the first ones that have worked for me! My sleep has been so much better since I bought these and I wish I had bought them sooner! They're very easy to instert in your ears and easy to take out as well, and they seriously fit amazingly. I'm a very light sleeper so I have to wear ear plugs to bed otherwise I will wake up to literally any noise, but I have extremely sensitive ears so it's and been so hard for me to sleep until I found these. They are completely sound proof (I can't hear ANYTHING when I have them in), and I haven't woken up once because of noise or discomfort. I highly recommend these to anyone who is a light sleeper or who has had trouble finding comfortable ear plugs to sleep with like me. I couldn't be happier!!

The one thing that these earplugs do better than the common foam ones is that it can be pushed in to be flush with the ear, letting side-sleepers get a more comfortable rest. However, the strengths of the earplugs pretty much end there. Despite having the highest noise reduction rating possible of up to 32db, it seems to me that these don't work nearly as well compared to normal foam earplugs, even when I make sure to get a completely tight seal. Getting a tight seal with these earplugs is part of the problem. With the silicone, I can create a completely airtight seal, but if I'm pressing the earplugs into my ear, the air that's already inside my ear needs to go somewhere, and it can't go in, so sometimes it actually creates a bit of pain as I'm putting the earplugs in. The reusability of these earplugs may also be seen as a flaw, since even though the instructions say that they can be washed and reused around 10 times, the reduction in adhesiveness makes it much more likely for them to fall out or create a gap in the ear once you put them in, which drastically reduces their effectiveness. Furthermore, washing them doesn't seem to be too effective since any lint or earwax that gets stuck onto the silicone is practically impossible to remove, and running it under water definitely does not help. All in all, these earplugs do still have some advantages over foam earplugs, but if you need to use earplugs often, these may need to be replaced more often than you'd like compared to the foam alternative.

I am very satisfied with this product. Finally I found an earplug that is efficient and comfortable. Now, I can sleep all night long with no external sounds bothering me. This is the third time I purchased it and the friends that I have referred are also very satisfied.

These are the best I’ve found! One star less just because I wish they blocked a little more sound but they are great for sleeping at night.

Moldeables, suaves y no incomodan como otros tapones. Recomendables, aislan muy bien el ruido

I bought these hoping they would block out my husbands snoring better than the foam ear plugs I’ve been using but they are completely useless. I might as well use nothing as these stupid things.

Después de aprender la forma correcta de usarlos funcionaron perfecto. Aíslan muy bien el ruido, yo los quería por el ruido de mis vecinos y ladridos de perro y esto me permite dormir muy bien, incluso mejor que los de foam

Lo que mas me gusto es que al ponerte estos tapones no se escucha ningun ruido y puedes dormir tranquilo.
