I am giving this a try on an old Milwaukee M12 2410 Drill, so far so good.
I replaced the motor on a Milwaukee M12 2410 Drill. It runs! It no longer smokes up! Does it drill holes? Yes. Will it sink in a #8 X 2-1/2 with out pre-drilling? I dunno. Lets find out ... yes! It did. Will it last? Time will tell. It is now 11/23 if Amazon allows I will update this if it fails. Be sure to measure the gap between the casing and the pinion of the old motor before removing the pinion. To remove the 13 tooth pinion from the old motor, I loaded up a 1/8 inch punch into my drill press. Then i removed the back from the old motor. I Placed the old motor casing on steel blocks under the 1/8" punch and I slowly pressed the pinion out. I semi heated the pinion with a hand held propane torch just a little, not too much, not making anything red hot or anything just a little heat. As the pinion comes out, it semi crushed the old motor casing. But the pinion came out a-o-k. To install the old pinion on the new motor, I then completely closed the drill chuck of my drill press, I put the new motor on the steel table. Only the bottom of the shaft is touching the table, not the casing. Then I placed the old pinion on the new motor shaft and pressed in the pinion. You are basically pressing down on the shaft only with the drill press. Then grab some small flat pliers and place it over the pinion and open up the chuck a little to let the shaft enter and continue pressing.

Exactly what my old Craftsman Bolt-On drill needed
My Craftsman Bolt-On drill took a dump & just stopped working a couple weeks ago so I cracked it open to inspect it & after cleaning all the grime out of it & closely inspecting all the hardware I came to the conclusion that it must be the little electric motor. So I took it out & tested it on a battery & sure enough, it was dead. So I looked at the part number & came to amazon, which had several options. Probably all of them are made in the same factory in china. I don't love buying stuff from china but nobody else makes little electric motors. So what are you gonna do? I bought one of these, popped the drive spline off the old dead one & tapped it onto the new one. Installed it & my drill came immediately back to life. We'll see how long the motor lasts. The factory one (also made in china) lasted many years. I think close to 10 years. So I'm hoping this new one lasts as long. $11ish dollars for a motor replacement every decade isn't too much to pay for a pretty decent drill/snap on tool system.

Not sure what to think, maybe these are junk, don't recommend it!!!
Installed this motor into my rock tumbler, but before I did, I noticed the shaft was a little hard to rotate wasn't sure if it was me or what so I installed it after I wired it up so I plugged it in and went too turn it on and ran for around maybe 5 seconds and stopped, then got an error on my display unplugged the tumbler and tried again nothing moved and got an error again!Examined the motor and couldn't smell anything burnt or anything like that, thinking maybe wasn't assembled properly from factory?

Easy to install
Easy to install in my black and decker matrix drill. Old motor went bad after about 10 years. I scavenged the pinion gear from the old motor and pressed it on this motor with a vice. Seems to work so far.
