Both of those items are quite good quality, on their own. I wonder how long the zipper will hold up, but that's always a question I have for any zippered item these days. The loop for a taillight and reflective accents are appreciated, though it would be better if they used some simple graphic than what looks like a generic, translated name. Flats are a fact of life with bicycles, and you should always have the resources to fix a flat, anytime you ride farther away from home than you would like to walk back. A bag manufacturer cannot provide the tube you should carry, as this must be matched to your bike's tires, but you should buy a spare and stick it in this bag. It would be nice if they would have included a small, glueless patch kit, but you should buy one and stick it in there, too, for that 'second flat' you might get after installing that spare tube. What the manufacturer cannot do for you is to teach you how to replace that tube so you can get back on the road. You're not going to do it correctly without instruction, so find a local bike class, or ask someone knowledgeable to show and explain to you how it's done. Here's a tidbit of bike wisdom, if you replace the tube, and it then 'leaks', 'pops', 'blows', 'explodes' or whatever, it was not the fault of the tube. Sorry. It was YOUR fault, as you made an error installing it. The number of times a failure is due to a defective tube are infinitesimally small, dwarfed by the myriad number of ways that people can screw up the job when they haven't been shown how it needs to be done. If you're the impatient type who carries a CO2 inflator, be sure to also have at least a mini-pump with you. Your mentor will explain why. One last tidbit--put in a pair of disposable, nitrile-type gloves. Not the really thin medical ones that tear easily, but the ones that still take up very little space but are much tougher.
