Great Headphones For the Gym
I ordered the Otium Beats Bluetooth headphones recently as I was in need of a new pair of workout headphones. I am an avid gym-goer; I try to go at least five times a week. I do everything from lifting to running so the headphones I need had to be durable yet still retain a good sound quality. I am going to discuss the quality and fit of the headphones, as well as their resilience to sweat and constant use. Finally, I will give my final thoughts about the product as a whole. Quality and Fit These headphones are clearly made for those who enjoy exercise, as they are fit with an over the ear loop that makes sure they do not fall off while you are running. The two earpieces are connected via a cord that goes behind your head. I really like this feature as it is none intrusive and does not get in the way when you are bench pressing or doing other lifts. The actual fit of the headphones is really good; I have never had them fall out or become loose in my ear, so the sound quality remains the same throughout the workout. Speaking of the sound quality, the headphones have performed exceptionally well so far. They block out outside noise and the bass and other sounds are very crisp and clear. Since they are also Bluetooth headphones, I wondered how well the connection would hold up in the gym. I have never had a problem with it, and have been able to walk a solid distance away and still had it connected. So as a whole in this section, I would score the headphones very highly as they are a great fit and sound fantastic. Durability Since these are workout headphones, my main concern was how durable they would be and how well they would hold up against sweat and constant use for hours at a time. They are listed as sweat-proof, and I have definitely put them to the test. I am happy to say that my sweating has not affected them at all, and they have not malfunctioned because of it. On the headphones are buttons that allow you to change the volume and songs that you are listening to. The button for changing the volume is great, and has never stuck or stopped working. The button press for changing the song is somewhat unconventional, but it is a feature I rarely find myself wanting to use, as my phone is usually close by and then I can actually see the song I am choosing. Another aspect to the durability of headphones would have to be their battery life. I feel like if a pair of headphones is perfect in everyway but the battery dies in under and hour or something like that, then they are not worth it. These headphones actually really surprised me when it came time to charge them. They are listed on Amazon as lasting for 8 hours on a charge, so I thought I would test this. I charged them out of the box, and then did not have to charge them for two weeks worth of gym time, which is far more than eight hours. These headphones are very durable and the battery life on them is exceptional. Conclusion Overall, I could not recommend these headphones more. They are long lasting, durable, and the sound quality is just as good as any other on the market that I have tried. Anyone who goes to the gym often will definitely enjoy them as they are worth every penny.

5 stars for sound quality and customer support
These headphones are absolutely amazing in sound quality! I have bought several different headphones to try to find the best sound quality and these were perfect! The only thing is that my ears are a bit small so wearing them can become uncomfortable over prolonged use but they are pretty good for the price. The battery life is pretty good usually giving you about 7 hours until it notifies you that it needs charging. Another thing is, is that after two months they stopped charging and I was seriously disappointed because the sound quality is amazing and I didnt want to have to buy another and spend more money. I reached out to the company and asked for a replacement and they were very kind and helpful when responding to me saying that they will immediately send a new replacement free of charge. They delivered on that promise and I got a free replacement! Another thing to note is that I wouldn't charge these for more than 2 hours because the lithium battery can become overcharged and stop working as a result. I've seen many other similar headphones state this in there instructions manual not to do this. Also, something I did not catch when I was using this product was to not use a fast charger for it may cause unstable voltage and damage the battery. This is most likely the reason why my headphones stopped working but the company was nice enough to provide me a new one. So, 5 stars for customer service and support and 5 stars for the sound quality.

Great headphones for the price
I’m a pretty active fellow, some would say. I also enjoy listening to music while I do things and stuff. And this is why I needed Bluetooth headphones. In the kitchen: I love cooking and listening to music with earbuds. And I have a good sized kitchen so I’m always going back and forth, opening and shutting drawers and cabinets. Then whammy!! The dang cords get wrapped around a handle and my buds pop out of my ears and dangle on the floor. Bummer. Running: not so much fun having little cords whip my face with every step. Shopping: yes, I’m one of those people who listen to music while shopping. I keep my phone in the cart with the list facing me but when I reach out further than the earbud cord goes, buds pop out or phone drops into the cart. There it is. My life with corded ear buds. So why don’t I just get AirPods? Because I don’t want to fork over $160 for something I’m gonna lose. Instead I opted for the Otium wireless buds. The cost is great. Not too expensive. They come in a round case with a variety of ear pads for different sized ears and a charging micro usb cord which is a bit ridiculously short. The ear pads were a bit large for my large ears. I mean, really? I have, I guess, normal sized man ears, but a quick change to a slightly smaller size and the buds fit perfectly in my head holes. After a quick charge I put them to good use. First off, pairing with my phone was quick and easy. After a read of the instructions, navigating the buttons on the right bud was pretty intuitive. The fit snugly in my head without feeling like something is tugging at me at all times. And the connection cord around my neck is negligible. All in all a good fit and very comfortable. So what about sound? Not bad. With the larger ear pads everything sounded like it was solely treble, but when I got the right size and the buds fit normally I could finally hear some bass. Not much. But enough to make a difference. The overall quality of sound is equivalent to the iPhone ear buds, sans the bass. I kept my phone either in my pocket or in my arm band and the sound never scratched or skipped a beat. Not sure how far I can go before the Bluetooth connection disrupts, but if you’re like me, your phone will be nearby at all times anyway. I have an eclectic taste in music. I listen to everything from classical, to 80s rock or pop, rap, film scores, alternative, and more. I’m not expecting to hear the quality of a live orchestra, but for all intents and purposes these are a great pair of headphones. I give this product four stars for overall quality of sound, function, design, etc. Four stars means if I need to replace them in the future, I may look for another product, but I’ll more than likely stick with these again.

Amazing for the price
I bought these in 2023 to train for a marathon. I knew I would get super sweaty and could lose them so I wanted something I wouldn’t care about if I lost them. Dude buy these! Not only did they work perfectly during my marathon training in and race in which it poured rain for 4 hours but I still use them today 3 years later and they still work! The battery lasts forever. Clearly during 4+ hour training runs but several days as well. They are so worth the price.

These headphones are … fine.
These get the job done for a relatively low price, but there are trade-offs. If you're replacing the original Plantronics Backbeat Fit headphones, keep looking. Pros: Price, battery life (7-8 hours maybe?), waterproofing (sweat, rain, shower), responsive physical buttons that are easy to use through ear-warmer headbands and with gloves. Meh: Sound quality, ability to let in some environmental noise (for running), charge time. Earpiece options in different sizes. Wanted headphones that are connected so I can drape them around my neck, but the cord is so long and loose (and the rubber adjustment piece falls off with a gentle accidental tug), nonetheless still glad to have the cord because… Cons: Bulky and prone to being bumped out of my ears. Even using the smallest rubber earpiece, they stick out quite a bit. The over-ear pieces are too large to do much good around my medium-small ears, resulting in a loose fit that tips to the edge of my ear rather than a secure fit against the side of my head. These do let in some environmental noise but seem to block out sounds of approaching vehicles and conversations that I could hear better with the old Backbeat Fits, and somehow the quality of the sound in the buds is also worse, so I don't hear anything quite as well as I'd like. I'm on the hunt for something better for my preferences, but for now these serve well enough, and it's nice to have something at a low price point to use for situations with higher risk of damage or loss.

Beats who?
These are, by far, the BEST wireless earbuds I have owned. I have wanted a pair of Beats for a very long time but could not justify spending the $$ on them. I came across these earbuds on Amazon Prime Day and I am so glad I did. The ONLY difference between these and Beats is that these do not have the Beats logo/name. The sound quality is excellent and very clear. I use them while at work, about 8 hours a day. The charge will last all day and I can usually get a few hours the next day out of them before needing to recharge. They fit very comfortably in my ear and I love the clip that goes around my ear to keep them in place when I go running. I also love the fact that the controls are on the ear bud itself and not on a heavy "remote" hanging from the wire. I wish the wireless range was a little longer (I can walk about 20-30 feet away before they lose connection). I have only had them for about a month now so I can't comment on how long they last but they seem very durable so I expect to have them for quite some time. I recommend these earbuds to anyone looking for a good quality pair of earbuds without the hefty price tag. ****UPDATE**** I have now had these earbuds for 11 months. They have officially died after using them for 8+ hours a day. I am devastated and don’t know how I’m going to survive without them. :(

How did I not discover this?!
Jesus freaking christ. I do not know how I did not discover these wireless earphones sooner. Background: I have used BeatsX by Dr. Dre. These were good wireless earphones, bass was good, sound okay. Guess what, broke within 1 year and warranty ran out. I have used Jaybird x3. These were definitely one of my favorites. Broke in 1.5 years due to not holding a charge. Warranty was only for one year. So I have spent around $130 each on these wireless earphones just to have them break and not be covered by warranty. I figured, why not just try a cheap wireless earphone from Amazon since all wireless earphones break within a year or two anyways. I saw Otium bluetooth earphones and purchased these due to the good reviews and mainly because it was $20. This is my first day using it, so I can not review it for the longevity, however I can tell you that the sound is on par with the BeatsX and Jaybird x3. However, the Beats and Jaybirds did have better bass, but it didn't really matter to me. I workout 5 days a week, so I needed something I can just listen music to without any wires. Surprisingly these can go double the distance of my Jaybird x3s without losing connection. That is what prompted me to write this review. In conclusion, you get double the distance of connection, on par music sound, all for 1/6 of the price of more well known wireless earphones. Even if it breaks, you get 1.5 year of warranty, or just even spend $20 each time it breaks. It will be well worth it even if these last 1-2 years. Good job to a great product so far!

Edit- New Version Sucks.... No longer --> Fair value for the price
Edit: Ive bought several pairs of these headphones as they were my go to for some time. The last two pairs I have were newer with different software (The voice confirmation ie "Power On/Power Off" was different so it was readily apparent they had made changes). These new pairs are terrible. The Bluetooth is constantly getting interference from other devices and cuts in and out all the time. At times literally no sound at all will be emitted for minutes at a time, all while my tablet continues to play. Connecting to devices is also a crap shoot. At work I use the headphones with my phone, at home I use them with my tablet. Getting it to switch over from one device to the other is a pain, even after disconnecting it from the initial device first. At least 2-3 times a week I have to tell my devices to "Forget Device" and have to attempt to re- pair the headphones and device. Half the time this doesnt even work and my phone/tablet wont even be able to find my headphones. At this point Im only keeping the headphones around to use a backup The highest volume setting could stand to be louder, the lowest could be lower. Fairly comfortable but not something you can wear all day. Wasnt aware these headphones were considered "noise cancelling" until this review so you can tell how well that feature works. Good range for the Bluetooth connection. Buttons (volume up/down, play/pause, answer call etc) are easy to access and use. Have not received any complaints about the quality of the mic during phone calls. Acceptable battery life and good charging rate, though there is little warning between "low power" and "powering off." Headphones stay in place during physical activity. I listen to a lot of audiobooks, podcasts, and talk radio and not all headphones deal with the lack of background music in such entertainment well but these are more the up to the task. Overall a satisfactory purchase for the price and I would recommend

Cheats . They are dumping bad quality product in India
Very disappointed with the battery backup. I bought this same earphones of the same company when I was in the US and it turned out to be really great, having a great battery life which unfortunately I lost. I came back in India recently, needed an earphone for running, was glad to find this same earphone on Amazon India and so I bought it. Only after a couple of uses I found and realized this is nothing like the one I bought in the US. Its battery backup drains after using for just couple of hours. They claim it's battery life is 8 hours which is not even near of the actual battery life of 2 hours. They are charging almost same amount of money in the US but there we get a good performing product but here, in India it seems they are cheating people .

Warning: Broken after 10 months, background noise
Sound quality was at best ok. Background noises made listening at low volumes unenjoyable. Very bad high tones. Planned obsolescence included! After 10 mm months of rare and careful use the headphones died.
