Does it actually work?** A: Hi. I am 71 and used this cream for a couple of months. It makes skin very soft and smooth and is quickly absorbed. Sadly though, it really didn't make much difference to deep wrinkles eg. around the mouth. But then, after years of using a wide variety of creams, I've just had to accept that soft and smooth is about as good as it gets. At least this cream is reasonably priced. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great face cream for moisturising and evening out the skin tone *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 29 August 2025* I have been using this cream on my face for a number of years and it's great. It apply a Eucerin serum first, then let it dry and apply this. This cream is not super thin but it's not too thick either. It does have a subtle smell but my view is that this is not overpowering (best to smell it at the shop because the strength of a smell is a very subjective thing). I find that a bit on the back of my hand that I then dab in dots over my face to then smooth over my face with my fingers is the way it works for me. That said, I think it can be used without the serum, which I have also done. For me, that was the routine I set and it's worked. This cream is moisturising but it also has an immediate effect evening out my skin tone. I swear that after using this, I notice my skin looking nicer, as if it had been touched by the sun even... I think it's the elasticity situation, which in my case takes away that stiffness you have in the morning (even after a shower). I cannot recommend this cream enough because it has been a game changer for me. I have an olive skin tone and the British weather is unkind to my skin --at times in the past, I got ashy patches on my face. This cream changed all that and I saw the difference from the first use. I know there are other face creams out there but I have several and this one has been the only that my skin has responded well to and when I put it in the morning, I feel it lasts all day. The cream is expensive (I always think all face creams are) so I normally get two pots when it's on sale or reduced price.
