This book has a wealth of information on subjects that relate to health. After reading the book, I decided to visit an acupuncturist for the first time in my life. I had developed a cough that wouldn't go away. I coughed all through the day and most of the nights. I didn't want to take an antibiotic or any pharmaceutical drug because of the side effects. So after coughing for three months, and after reading this book, I got an appointment with a Chinese acupuncture place. I am feeling so much better now. I had six sessions with acupuncture and cupping. I'm also learning about essential oils, and I bought a diffuser, which helps. I have Lavender drops in it now. Dr. Axe recommended for lung problems like I have to take some Eucalyptus essential oil and mix it with a carrier oil, like coconut oil, and rub it on my chest and the back of my neck. This really helps. I'm trying some of the herbs that Dr. Axe recommends in his book, and they are helping, too. I prefer to keep away from pharmaceutical drugs if possible, and I plan on getting some CBD oil when I can find a good store. I had cancer and a bilateral masectomy last fall. I've always been healthy, or so I thought. None of my doctors talked to me about strengthening my immune system, or how to go about doing it. There is so much helpful information in this book about how to strengthen my immune system, and also, information that helps me to understand more about cancer. I really appreciate Dr. Axe taking the time to write this book and make all this information available to the average person.
