Wow! This is wonderful! I am fairly new to the essentials oils party and I had a really hard time choosing what scents I might like. Anytime you buy something that you can't smell first hand comes with a risk. I went through lots of reviews before choosing my first few oil fragrances.I'm very happy that I settled on this one. I will say that you cannot judge a fragrance properly until you have properly diffused it. They are all too strong out of the bottle.So...what does LAVENDER smell like? The label lists Lavender (lavandula angustifolia)Personally, I am very picky about lavender. I love it - but I don't love all things scented lavender. Sometimes lavender scented items just smell musty and "off" instead of intoxicating and floral.This particular lavender oil is heavenly! Be warned do not make your judgement by smelling this straight from the bottle - it is strong and smells more intense than ordinary lavender. But, when you dilute it properly in an oil warmer or mist diffuser it is perfect!! I have grown several varieties of lavender plants in my garden and this is exactly what the flowers from traditional English Lavender smell like.This is beautiful on it's own or blends very nicely, particularly with vanilla scents to lighten it just a bit. This is a heady, perfume like scent and can be a bit strong. Start with only a few drops in your diffuser or linen mists and then work up to your liking.If you are on the fence, then I would recommend this one. I think most people will find it just divine.

I love essential oils. Over the years I have tried so many brands, however it’s hard to buy them online where I love in NI. Shipping doesn’t allow then to be send to my address. I hit lucky and was able to get this brand of lavender oil. I was a bit concerned with the other negative reviews, however I need not have worried. I have diluted this oil with a few dabs of coconut oil on my skin and rubbed it in. The lavender scent has hung around for a good while and I was able to breathe it in and hopefully feel the benefits of it. I’m into arty things and natural remedies .. I have good hopes for this.

Nothing much to say really - it is exactly as described and seems to be really good quality.Supposed to help you sleep better - but not according to my sleep tracker! Not the products fault - that's just lavender oil in general.
