Cra-Z-ArtMetallic Markers, 6-Count (10029-24)

I bought these to make corrections on children's papers at school. They don't go through the paper, and the fun colors are a big hit with the kids. I would buy these again.

Well I tried it on black paper, and there's no hint of color anywhere.. it dries up to be just plain silver on all colors, but i gave it 2 stars cus it still shows on black.

Package is a dark shiny blue, unlike the bright yellow package shown in this ad. The ad gives the Cra-Z-Art item number as 10029-24. The item number on the box is just 10029. The copyright date on the box is 2012.I have purchased many Cra-Z-Art products in the past 10 years (5 grandkids, lots of birthday and Christmas presents). I have found them to be on par with Crayola. Usually, I will buy both products, as their colors and shades of color are different, giving the kids more coloring choices.I was very disappointed to find these metallic markers are terrible, especially after paying full price.The silver was completely dried up, and the other colors (purple, blue, green, red) were not metallic. The gold was more of a dark ochre, and also not metallic.Given the copyright info on the box, I suspect the seller is trying to get rid of old stock, which explains the wide difference in the other reviews.I will be returning this product.

I bought these to use for art trading cards and was a little disappointed that they are not very metallic at all. My little girl loves them, however. They would be fantastic for kids, but maybe try something else for an adult art or craft project.

These markets are so cool. I gave them to my niece who loves art and she has really enjoyed having some variety. My sister mentioned to methat would love them more if they had been washable...I didn't even notice that they weren't.
