It's a great kit. The box alone is probably worth the price. The sockets are really first rate. Got to have a set of these.

Good kit at a fair price. They work as intended and they have the Dewalt durability. I bought this kit to go with an impact wrench for my Wrangler. The storage box it came with fits perfectly in my tool bag.

Big case for small sockets

Just as the other approx 400 DeWalt items I own, this is no different. It's built with quality and ease of use in mind. The case that comes in is awesome. The socket themselves feel premium and not a whole lot of difference between them and a snap-on. And yes I own lots of Snap on, matco, Mac, SK, nepros and wera to name a few. There are only certain tools from the top name brand makers that I wouldn't substitute with anything else. Other than those select items you're pretty much paying for the name. DeWalt and Milwaukee are My two main tool brands and neither one has ever disappointed me so far. I think the price of this socket set compared to what you would pay for one off of the tool truck it's kind of a no-brainer. Buy the snap-on ratchet, but get the sockets from DeWalt.

These are well made sockets made in Taiwan. You’re getting sae and metric for less than what most manufacturers charge for one set.But there are things you should be aware ofIt comes w a great case that has a removable organizer you could throw in your tool box. Unfortunately the case is massive. The case is twice as large as it needs to be. See photo w sockets in the case with out the organizer.The sockets are labeled deep but really they are mid-length. Each socket is a different length but all are shorter than traditional deep sockets. See photo where I compare the 19mm, 15mm, and 10mm vs other 3/8 drive deep sockets.The sockets are also broached so the hex doesn’t go through the whole socket. Not a big deal to me but to some that may matter.In the end the case being too large and the short length were a deal breaker for me but I still think these are high quality sockets as long as you know ahead of time what you’re getting.
