Good and cheap but shoulder buttons stop working after drops - fix in review
Controllers work as expected. Our preteen is playing a significant amount of time with the switch and she generally seems to be pleased with the controllers. One issue I noticed is that the top (shoulder) button on the blue controller stopped working. It could no longer be pressed. This happened on the 2nd pair we bought as well.Luckily I found a fix for it. You can use a J0 Philips screwdriver to remove the four little screws. Use a pry tool to carefully open the case. The shoulder button plastic cover will fall out. That is fine. Inspect the little button that is vertically mounted on the PCB. In both of my controllers it was bent back. Use some needle-nose pliers to carefully bend it back. There should be no gap between the bottom of the switch and the PCB. Re-assemble the shoulder button plastic cover, and close up the controller. Put the screws back in carefully. The strip easily. Done - kid happiness increases.Minus one star for poor mechanical design. There should be some casing around the switch or a different part for the switch - with better vertical stability - should be used. For reference, the button in the original controller essentially straddles the PCB.

Great feeling in hand. Good price with only minor downsides. Overall very happy
Great controllers for the average user with some downsides/compromises that for me are greatly outweighed by the pros.Cons1. No NFC for amiibo2. No IR sensor (I have never used this feature and honestly dont know any games that do)3. Slightly worse gyro sensing maybe 10% worse but I was playing Duke nukem with gyro aim and it works great still just not quite as responsive when moving slowly but it's very minor4. Cant use kick stand while controllers are attached5. Cant have usb plugs while docking with the joycon6. Slightly harder to press in analog sticks7. Cant wake up switch wirelessly (I dont think any third party controllers can do this not even wired ones) (they can wake the switch while attached with home button)8. No hd rumblePros1. Much better sticks than the ones on the official joycons2. Real Dpad that doesnt suck!3. Fully sized plus and minus buttons4. Turbo and macro buttons5. Very comfortable6. Ligt weight7. At least mine fit even more snugly in the rail system thus much less wiggle than official joycon8. Can be docked and charged from dock while attachedOverall for the price (half of official joycon) the over all better feeling controller is something I am really enjoying.

Better value than Nintendo
We’ve had so many issues with Nintendos version and they were so expensive to replace. If these are going to fail eventually you might as well save some money.

Hold up!
I’ve had these for a while and they’re very decent.Pros: The joycons can only be turned on by docking them. These will not turn on in a bag and run their batteries down.Cons: Being that you can only turn these on by docking them, using them with a 3rd party control grip gets a little tedious.

Best controllers for acnh
For a dedicated player of animal crossing new horizons these are a life saver especially when I'm driving for sea creatures the turbo function for pressing a to swim helps save my thumb from getting sore as well as rapid pressing y to collect all the flowers and pumpkins to craft items these will help and for the price they are great. The 5 hour battery life is long enough for the 2 hour streams I do on twitch.

Excellent grip, but button already broken
The media could not be loaded. These controllers were excellent for the first 5 months of use. You have to dock then every time you want to use/connect them which can be frustrating, but we put up with it because of the excellent use one they're connected. About a month ago, the "L" button stopped working. I tried taking the controller apart to see if I could fix it, but I couldn't remove one of the screws. We are still able to use the controllers for 90% off the games we play, but it's rather disappointing that the controller is no longer fully functional. :/

Just played my first session with theese
Initial impressions:- Pairing was effortless- Locking them into the tracks on the switch took a tiny bit of push but they clicked in and stayed- Definitely more ergonomic than Nintendo joycons. Easy to grip and hold.- My only nitpick is the position of the charging ports. My fingers seem to find them when playing and it gets a little annoying but not too bad.
