Works well, does what it's supposed to.
I bought my unit for ventilating a basement. After about 2 months of continuous use, it stopped working for seemingly no reason. It was past amazon's return period, so I contacted Turbro's support. They sent me a new unit the very next day! I'm back up and running no problem.this thing can move a TON of air. And while it's not super quiet at the max speed, it's very reasonable. I keep it at a relatively slow speed, so it's pretty dang quiet for me.As long as this replacement unit holds up, I'll keep this as a 5 star review. If the new one dies like the old one did, I will likely update it.

High Quality
Seems to be of high quality and sturdy construction. It's made of metal and not cheap plastic. The power cord is long enough for my application and the speed controller has an even longer cord. I used this inline with the duct for my above range exhaust venting. I have a high kitchen ceiling and the duct continues through the attic to a roof vent. The standard exhaust fan on the over range microwave just wasn't pushing (or pulling) the air. I mounted this inline, in the attic. Simply cut the the aluminum duct, placed the fan in the duct, sealed it up, had an outlet available and plugged it in. Ran the long controller cord/fan speed controller down the exhaust duct chase and under the cabinet next to the stove. Also used a "smart" plug to plug the fan in. I can say "Alexa-turn on exhaust fan" and power is turned on. I can leave it at my preset speed or decrease/increase with the controller manually.

It works and doesn't use much electricity
At highest rpm is a little noisy but I'm running only .5 of maximum rpm so is OK.

This fan is fantastic, 1st. its small, the size of a mayonnaise jar. 2nd. one piece aluminum housing. 3rd. set at 15% power, the exhaust side air made my wife's hair move from 8ft away. 4th. at 15% barely hear motor running, i walked away from it, forgot it was on. at 100%, it blew all the papers off my table from 8ft away. yes at 100% it is loud, but when you see and feel the power this little mayonnaise jar sized fan has, you will say holy crap!!The plastic bodied exhaust fan that i replaced is a popular name brand, i was running the old fan at 75% and the 2x4 grow tent was still hovering close to 90 degrees. i would have turned the fan to 100% but at 75% i could hear fan from another room across the hall. I had to put my hand over the exhaust port on the outside of the tent to make sure that the old fan was exhausting properly:(This little 4" fan will do the job better than the name brand 6" fans and i bet it would give most 8" fans a run for their money. 5th. the controller is small 1.5 inches x 2inches, compare that to the popular 4x4 inch competitor controllers. So when you compare cost of unit, air movement, quietness, cost of operation, the 4 inch turbo exhaust fan cant be beat. For tents larger than 6ftX6ft, Turbo Exhaust Fans come in 6 inch and 8 inch sizes. The only negative i could see is the controller power cord end plugs. Both plug ends have a 3 pin male/female connection. The connection is a tight fit, the power cord plug pins could get bent if you are not careful plugging the controller power cord into the fan and the controller. Be careful!I hope this review was informative.

Versatile Inline Duct Fan with Performance Trade-offs
I purchased the TURBRO AirSupply ES4 inline duct fan for a Laser system I am setting up. While it offers some commendable features, I found a few aspects that gave me pause. On the positive side, the fan includes a variable dial controller, a feature that adds versatility and control over its operation. Moreover, the housing crafted from aluminum rather than plastic provides a sense of durability and sturdiness. However, the price of the TURBRO AirSupply ES4 is quite high compared to its competitors. Given the cost, I expected a higher cubic feet per minute (CFM) output, but it falls slightly short in this aspect when compared to rival products available at a similar price point, notability AC Infinity. One aspect that I found slightly disappointing was the noise level, particularly at maximum speed. While the product claims a max noise level of 37 dB, I found the fan to be louder than anticipated, though it might be subjective and depend on personal tolerance levels.Comparing it with the AC Infinity CLOUDLINE PRO T4, the TURBRO AirSupply ES4 somewhat managed to keep up in terms of performance. However, the aesthetics of the TURBRO AirSupply ES4 didn't quite match up to my expectations. The appearance was not as pleasing as I had hoped, although my decision to opt for this fan was primarily driven by its required location in the inline system.

Powerful but energy efficient
I have been looking for a 4 inch ventilation fan for a while. After comparing quite a few, I finally bought this one. The ES4 inline duct fan delivers an airflow of 195 CFM at 5000 RPM with only 18 watts of power. I also like the aluminum alloy external case. To me the speed controller is not a must-have feature, but certainly very nice to adjust the air flow. For a 4 inch inline duct fan, 195 CFM is excellent to ventilate my basement and help reduce the humidity level. I am happy with this purchase.

Works great at all speed levels.
I've only used for six months, so I can't comment on its longevity, but it seems like the quality is there.
