Betta Fishes Paradise! Please buy this!!!!
Hey fellow fish lovers!! My tank arrived on time without any broken areas or issues. It comes with a filter, 1 filter cartridge, air pump, lights and bubbler and of course all the various tubes and things. It has a clear hood so you can see the lights on the ceiling which is so beautiful. This is a great deal and had a fairly easy setup. This a great tank for beginners! I love it so far. I don't have water in it and won't buy my fish for a couple weeks (cycling tank) so I might update it then! My first impression is a great one but we will see! :) Update: As promised I will give you an update :-) it has been about a month-ish of having my tank I now have a betta fish, two ghost shrimp and two snails in my tank :-) it has been a great set up! In the beginning I had trouble with the filter bubbling like crazy but with time it seemed to get better and also a filter change really did the trick when it started bubbling profusely again weeks later. I managed to shove a house and a large plant as decorations in the tank :-) I wouldn't trust people when they say they couldn't keep anything alive in the tank. You have to cycle the tank for best results and also use a water conditioner. This is my very first tank and I am a complete newcomer to the fish keeping world. But I have kept my overstocked tank happy and healthy for the last two weeks because I did my research and do regular water changes. This tank has a unique shape, an adjustable air pump, LED lighting and filter for an amazing price. I am very satisfied with this purchase and hope you get to experience this tank in your home :-) I would definitely recommend and encourage you to buy this product! Happy fish keeping! 2nd update: It is still a great tank :-) I have had my sweet fish Leonardo in this tank for about two months and he is happily swimming around his fun home! I have probably had this tank for about 3 to 4 months for the cycling process and I have been very pleased by this product! This is definitely a steal it is a great tank for newbies :-) at the end of the day I love sitting watching the colors change and Leonardo making his rounds swimming around the plants and through The cords! Please buy this Tank it is so cheap and such a great find! Thank you guys for reading and happy fish keeping!

Very beautiful lovely little tank
This is an adorable little tank! I just had one loan zebra tetra left in a big tank and I got this for him and he’s so happy and it’s very pristine. I really enjoy watching it. As well as my cat. So I’ve had to put some large rocks on the top But still lets the light in and it’s simple to put together and a lovely addition even if you just have a beta it would be happy. The pump and filter are very quiet. And they do a very good job keeping the water clean. Though I bought an aftermarket filter that seemed to work better than what came with it but they were relatively inexpensive and have made keeping the tank upkeep simple.

Good little tank after some tweaks
I'm going into my 2nd week with this tank and made a few adjustments that resolve the LED bubbler from floating to the top all the time. The 2 annoying things I noticed once I had set it all up was the fact the LED bubbler wouldn't stay on the bottom and the lid kept falling off. To resolve the LED bubbler issue, I found a small rock, just about the same size as the bubbler and about an inch in thickness. I wanted to use a rock that I could conceal well but also have some weight to it. Being in Texas, we have a ton of limestone rocks on our land and after researching online, I discovered limestone was a great option. It holds well underwater (be warned that some rocks may start to disintegrate or chalk after being underwater for some time. I boiled water and allowed the rock to soak for 2 hrs to ensure it was clean. Do not use soap when doing this as it can disrupt the ecosystem inside the tank. Once the rock was clean, I attached the bubbler on top of it with a zip tie. This way I could bury the limestone rock under the aquarium gravel and now the whole thing has enough weight to stay on the bottom. Problem solved! The issue with the lid, I discovered, that while it is true the tank bows out slightly in the back due to the weigh of the water (an issue of poor design), the lid does not sit on top of the aquarium after all. There is a small lip on the front of the lid and it fits down inside in top of the tank. Rather than attempting to set the lid directly on top, you insert the lip slightly on the top and it fits securely and tightly. This was discovered, mind you, after the lid fell off into the tank over 20 times. I was very annoyed and even when we went to feed them, one small touch and the lid was off. My husband realized I had it on wrong the whole time. Once we figured that out, the lid has not fallen into the tank since. Be sure when you fill the tank, you fill it high enough to have the water line just under the spout (or lip) of the filter. If you fail to have enough water, the filter will not work properly and therefore, the tank will not cycle correctly and more than likely will result in dead fish. Be sure you see water spewing back out of the spout of the filter back into the tank. Again, since I've only had it for 2 weeks, I can't say much for the longevity of the filter itself and/or how reliable the tank is. However, for a starter tank for my 4 year old to have 2 small fish inside, it was a hit! We also got a small moss ball (can buy online on Amazon or at your local pet store or fish store) and this also helps with the natural filterization in the tank. I have the tank situated close enough to a window to allow some sunlight in. The moss ball needs some sun in order to stay alive. Do not overfill this small tank with too many fish. You will end up with to much ammonia and have to clean it out more often than you would like. I recommend either one betta, 2 small Glo Fish, or 2 small guppies or 2 small mollies. Maybe you can get away with a dwarf frog and a small angelfish. The frogs, while they are fun to watch swim around, dirty up the tank much faster than fish do. Plus, they eat bloodworms which also have a tendency to dirty up your water quicker. Add some weight to your bubbler like I did and this will resolve the biggest complaint you see about this tank. Otherwise, I am pleased with my purchase and I'll update this post when I have had it longer.

Immediate replacement 💕
The first tank we got had a chip and they IMMEDIATELY sent a new one with out hesitation. Love this little tank! The bubbles and lights are so fun too, just didn’t have heavy enough rocks to keep it fully weighted. Great to put against a wall to have as table decor 💕

Good, not great
Was very happy when I received this tank. This 3 gal half moon design was exactly what I was looking for. But the looks on the box are deceiving. All the extra hoses, simply put are an eye sore. You have to pack a lot of gravel for the light/bubble thing to stay down. It also does not come with an on/off switch. So to turn the lights off you have to manually unplug it, and vice versa to turn it on. It is a design flaw that is extremely annoying. The air pump is small, and quiet. You control the air flow to both the bubbles and filter through that & it comes with knobs to adjust strength of both outputs, which is nice. The lid can be a pickle to put on. It fits snug, but the design is so sleek (which is beautiful) if you don't line the lid up absolutely perfectly, the lid will fall into the tank.

Love this!
I was recently gifted a betta and he came with a dreadful little bowl so I had to change that ASAP. I wanted to find something within my budget and since I didn't have much room for another betta, I needed to find something compact but had a decent amount of room for my new buddy. I found this on Amazon and thought it'd be a great deal, I've never used air stones with my other bettas so I figured this would be interesting. Anyways, when I got it in the mail and opened it, I found that it had been used and more than likely a returned product :( However, a quick call to Amazon Customer Service quickly fixed the problem and had me return the product (free of charge of course) and sent me a new one the NEXT DAY! So, I was extremely pleased with that!! The setup for the tank was pretty easy, the LED air stone was pretty annoying since it kept floating to the surface. After a few tries of burying it in the gravel, I ended up putting it in a cold cup of water till it finally sank and put it in the tank. I have it set up on my computer desk and I don't have any shelving above me so I hand to set the air pump below the tank. If you plan on doing the same I suggest buying a check-valve before buying the tank because it's not included, I bought mine at Wal-Mart for like $1.89 or something like that. Overall it's a pretty good starter tank and compact enough to sit on a computer desk :)

Terrible tank with many issues; received 3 defective tanks
Save your money. I went off the positive reviews and highly regret this purchase. I ordered this tank for my son so we could get his first pet, a goldfish. The tank came in the mail and we excitedly opened it to get it set up. Unfortunately, the tank had a big crack right down the side. Back to Amazon it went. I ordered a second one as a replacement, and this time the tank looked fine so we set it all up. It came time to plug up the filter, and sure enough it didn't run at all. Unfortunately there was no way to know this ahead of setting up the tank since it says not to plug it in until the tank is full and the filter is fully submerged. It was really disappointing to have to tell my son twice that we'd have to wait longer to get his fish since both tanks had issues. Tetra customer service said they will send me a replacement filter, so I'll update when that happens. So far I've been pretty disappointed and wish I had bought a different tank. Update: Other issues that have come up: the tank bows when it is full of water and then the top doesn't stay on properly. It falls in with the slightest touch. There are so many issues that I will not be using this tank at all. I got the replacement filter and yet a third cracked tank from Amazon. They have issues with shipping this and I do not recommend purchasing from them. I ended up buying a TopFin 5 gallon aquarium kit from petsmart. It's a glass aquarium with a real power filter (not powered by bubbles like this one has). The lid is great as are the built in lights. I am super happy I switched tanks. The new one is not the least bit annoying or frustrating and we can finally enjoy our fish now that we've quit wasting time with multiple tetra half moon tanks. The tank we love is called "Top Fin LED Aquarium Starter Kit" and it's 5.5 gallons and 29.99.

3 gal tank
I love the esthetics of this tank. My betta loves it. I love how you can control the bubbler with the filter. So if you want more bubbles then the filter is less powerful. If you want a stronger filter flow and less bubbles you can adjust the knobs. Just a FYI the power of the bubbles and the lights fade in and out on mine. I didnt know it would do that. When it first happened I thought it quite already. It didnt, within 20 so min it started up full steam again. I have a amazon sword and a annubius plant and two small plastic plants on this tank. Yes its a tad full but It seems to be working very well. This is 3 weeks of having it.

Unusual fish tanks
These tanks are a unusual shape, which I like. The plastic seems a bit flimsy but only time will tell if that’s a problem. I am very happy with everything else.

Calidad - Precio

Pump broke day 1
I suggest you stay clear of this - not worth the trouble. Ended up buying another pump on Amazon - but paying this for a plastic tank is a rip off. The rest of the set up (gravel, toys, water additives, food etc) all not included so you get painfully little.
