These keep me warm the least of the 3 types of thermals I own. I have 2 sets of these smooth, shiny, sexy, space-age thermals. I have a 2 sets of ugly, ill fitting Fruit of the Loom thermals from Walmart (thin waffle type material). Then, I have some thicker waffle type material thermals I bought from a sporting goods store long ago that keep me the toastiest. They don't seem to do much good when there is a breeze. As soon as I put them on, I could feel air with every movement. Even just walking around the house modeling them for my wife, I felt like I was evaporating more sweat than naked. I think if I was wearing rubber clothes or if I stood still in a box, these might be as warm as the Fruit of the Loom. So, forget about wearing these riding a motorcycle.Some people commented they seemed a size too small. They fit me pretty well. They're slightly tighter than my other thermals, but I think they were just made to hug your body to make you look sexier. I feel like I'm wearing yoga pants. If it wasn't bad form for men to wear yoga pants in public, I'd wear these outside. Even if they don't work that well, I like how they look. My daughter said I looked like I was going scuba diving. My son said I looked like a seal.Some people complained they have no fly. I've never been able to fish my junk out of the fly of any underwear anyway. I thought hey were just there for decoration. I didn't know anyone cold squeeze through there. So, the lack of a fly doesn't bother me. Besides, I wear boxer briefs underneath. That means I'd have to snake it through 3 layers. Am I supposed to wear underwear inside my thermal underwear?I live in Southern California. Cold to me is anything under 60 degrees. So, I haven't tested these in "real" cold situations. I think the coldest I've worn these in was around 45 degrees.

Literally one of the most comfortable things I own which, either says something about the quality of clothes I own or, about how soft and warm these underwear are.I am a Southern Californian who gets cold when it drops below 70 degrees Farenheit (21 degrees Celsius) so needless to say when I saw that Quebec City was having highs in the negative digits, I hurriedly bought the first pair of underwear that came up on Amazon, shuddering at the thought of future cold. To cut a long story short, I didn't freeze to death thanks to these underwear though wearing the full set did make me feel like the stereotype of a "Theater Kid." Well, either it was the underwear that kept me alive or the hard alcohol....I may need to revisit and test this theory in a more scientific manner.

The item was well worth the price which I thought was a little high, however it is very light to where and does help to maintain excellent warmth from the cold air and wind.It is unfortunate that I loaned mine to someone visiting and I suspect they were or so so impressed with the item they took it with them and unfortunately I do not have the income to purchase another set...

Pants were smaller than I would have thought. The tops fit perfectly and worked really well! Great value! I couldn't get the pants past my quads, if you have big quads the pants won't fit you. Very comfortable even in 3 degree Celsius weather.

It’s ok. Stretchy material and the shirt wants to work it’s way up when tucked in so when you bend over there is a cold air space. Sucks for that.Pants are ok.

Love this set! Very soft and cozy. I purchased this for my husband who is a welder and works outdoors year round. The material is thin enough to fit under normal and FR rated clothing. Don’t let the thin materiel fool you, it will keep you toasty warm and sooooo cozy!

Do not dry. I ordered a M and the back of the shirt stops right above my pant line making it difficult to tuck in for maximum warmth.
