This is a good item to have when you are a wheel hair user. I am not able to stand properly so this item is useful when I sit on public commode ti give me some height to keep me from popping on commode be cause my knees and legs are very weak and when I end them I plop because lack of control and I don't hurt myself due to the thickness of this item. The only flaw is if the cushion is not put on commode correctly it will slide or move and cause me to hurt myself.

I must give this product the worst performance review for height elevation. I used it one time then threw it in the garbage. The 4” thickness immediately compressed to completely flat. This was by no mistake. There was a brass vent hole for air to escape that enables it to deflate. This defeated the entire purpose of having a raised toilet seat, especially when traveling. Most hotels have an ADA ht. toilet in their mobility accessible rooms, but I need addition ht. to lift off of the toilet. This was not the product that is advertised. I give it a 1 out of 10. The Velcro worked.

I never before realized how low to the ground our toilets at home were until I returned from the hospital with our new baby. Immediately I was searching online for something to ease my pain and make it easier to go to the bathroom solo. The cushioning is comfortable but strong and supportive; I’m a larger woman so while I did sink a bit it still gave me the height I was looking for. It does narrow your “target” somewhat, so I kept wet wipes nearby for spot cleaning as needed. My partner wasn’t a big fan since he couldn’t lift the seat with the cushion attached, and the Velcro is strong (thank goodness) so it wasn’t a simple matter to just remove when he wanted to use the toilet. Luckily we have another toilet upstairs, but it’s something to consider if you share a single toilet with a partner who stands to use the toilet.

Could be better. Needs wider, and more velcro straps to hold in place better. The cushion completely compresses as soon as you sit, but it does help your comfort when healing from injury, or surgery. A little tweaking in the design of holding in place, and this could be a 5 star for sure.

This is soft to sit on, which is a plus. It is on the small side, which is disappointing. It's kind of a narrow opening on the inside of the U shape, but it is usable and cleans easily so no big complaints. I just place it on top of the toilet seat without using the Velcro attachments and the seat doesn't slide around. It is easier to take off and on the toilet seat this way. I still feel safe without using the straps on the toilet seat.

When I needed a colonoscopy, I was most anxious about how my bad back would fare, spending hours at a time on the toilet. This got the best reviews for adding comfort to an existing toilet seat, so despite the negative reviews, I bought it. Thanks to other reviews, I knew it would compress when I sat down (making the opening much smaller), so I purposely held the seat wide as I sat, so I didn’t have an issue with- um- stuff getting on it. I just didn’t attach it to the seat. My complaint is that it doesn’t give sufficient cushioning. I felt it while it was sealed and thought the foam was fairly dense, but as soon as I took it out of the wrapping, it was about as cushy as a piece of lunch meat. Yes, it was definitely better than a hard seat, but it was not as cushiony as I’d hoped and thought it was when I felt it while sealed. If they made this with a denser foam, it would be great, at least for short-term use (like colonoscopy prep or when recovering from a medical procedure or issue), but they should make the inner part more rigid so it doesn’t close in so much. It does seem like the material would clean fairly well, if this is your only option for longer use, although I won’t need it for another ten years, thank goodness, so as much as I hate contributing to the landfills and buy-it-and-chuck-it habit, I indeed threw it out. I didn’t need it for rising (as it mentions in the description and on the package), but that’s ridiculous for it to claim it will help. This certainly won’t elevate you 2”, and I would be surprised if it elevates even half an inch, so your money would be much better spent at a medical supply store or for an actual toilet seat riser. it compresses nearly flat as soon as you sit down, so it doesn’t provide any lift at all, if that’s what you’re looking for.

I bought this for my Dad when he was on hospice. I’m not really sure what kind of review I can give for this product but I’ll do my best. The raised toilet seat was easily installed! It didn’t slide, it stayed in place really well. It added the height it needed and made that hard potty more comfortable for him.

Cheap. Cushion flattens when u sit on it. My geriatric mother, who I bought this for, does not like it. She only weighs about 100lbs. Previous cushion that I purchased for her was sturdier, stronger. I’m so disappointed. I will have to buy another.

Este es un buen auxiliar que ayuda a disminuir el dolor y molestias en los momentos críticos de la recuperación, posterior a una cirugía en la zona rectal. Se adapta muy bien al asiento del baño. Principalmente vuelve confortable este momento tan difícil que es sentarse en el wc. Además se puede utilizar, eventualmente, en otros bancos o asientos sin acojinado. Evita que las extremidades resientan el peso sobre superficies duras. Los materiales y hechura son de buena calidad. Tiene una funda que se quita para lavarla adecuadamente. Parece que será duradero.

Thick and soft, purchased this for my elderly father and he loved that it was soft and added gave him some comfort. It will squish down quite a bit depending on weight of the person.
