Are the pipe centers adjustable

Are the centre's adjustable, says they are, i need 140mm centres

The pipe centres on the shower I received are fixed at 150mm.

I have 28mm male pipe fittings out of the wall going in to my current mixer shower that i want to replace, will this fit, thanks
