I installed mine on our 3 season porch so it does freeze, which I was worried about. Zero issues. Made well, runs like a champ. An absurd number of games and options lol. I particularly like the jeering setting but my gf dies not. It does have a lot of bounce offs but every plastic tip board does. The tips provided are fine. They’ll break but easy to replace. Honestly this is as good as any board you’ll find in a bar for dart league.

General: Overall this is an excellent board, and I believe an excellent value, even at this price. The board plays very similar to a bar board at a fraction of the price. It is not without its issues, but those are outweighed by its benefits. Pros: -Excellent playablility -Multitude of games -X/O feature very nice and readable from a distance -Few bounce-outs -Sound effects announce number and score -Solid construction -Easy Installation Cons: -Darts that come with the board are junk. You must buy your own, unless you love chasing flights after each throw. At this price point, you probably own your own darts anyways. -Bulls-eye malfunction: About once every 5 games, you will hit very close to the bulls-eye on say a 15, and it will score as a bulls-eye. The "bounce out" button allows for correction. -Although the X/O display is lit, the numbers the X/O's correspond to just above it are not. So, from the throw line, you can barely see what numbers you need unless you memorize the X/O numbers. Basically before each throw you say I need 1 more of the second number from the left. -CPU Vs. mode is useless. The CPU throws dreadfully slow, and even in novice mode(easiest) typically throws will be triple 20, triple 17 and double bulls-eye. Unless you are near pro, just play by yourself. Even with the list of cons, this is still a 5 star board. I know it is expensive, but when you see that the playability is similar to a bar board at $3000-$4000, $250 seems like a steal. Just remember this is a recreational board, and it is not without minor issues. Thoroughly pleased with my purchase. Highly recommended!

I have had this board for a couple of weeks now and have played about 10-12 games on it. Starting with the good: Solid built Mounts solidly on the wall Lots of games, probably will never play all of these. Shortcut buttons for 301 and Cricket The bad: The screws provided are exceptionally cheap and snapped one off which made for a fun time of digging in the wall to get the broken screw out. Go get new screws and size them up to #12. The dart tips are useless. Bendy and way too often need to be replaced. Several tips have already broken and about every 3 rounds you have to replace at least one tip because it has bent in several directions. Bought L-style Premium Lippoint - Soft Tip Dart Points and they were way better but still not great. WAY TOO MANY BOUNCE OUTS. Flights are already breaking. Probably will need to just suck it up and buy new darts. The problem is this is in the garage and falling on the concrete floor isn't helping. The heckler is useless and awful. Save the cost of coding that nonsense in and for the love of all that is holy, allow me to disable it permanently. Every time you start a new game, it starts this idiotic feature again. The only way to kill it is to turn off the volume and you won't hear it each time a new game starts. No way to "play again". You have to push the game select button over and over again. I would have just assumed that you could press next player and have everything restart with the same game and options. This board is way too expensive for cheap darts and tips. New decent tips weren’t that expensive and Arachnid should give you decent darts at this price point. It is a fun board and will give me something entertaining to do in the garage.

So I did a lot of research before purchasing this and there are so many negative reviews on these boards. After awhile I figured I would just go with the big name brand and I couldn't be happier with the results. This is an awesome board. Tons of fun games to try and up to 8 player Cricket, 301 etc... So much fun to play with friends. The hit recognition is pretty good although if the dart is thrown softly sometimes it won't register which is NBD you just walk up and press it manually. The LED board is easy to read from 8 feet away. It also tells you what your last 3 darts thrown were so you can see what you threw without having to walk up to get a closer look. Such an awesome board. This is the one you want. The negatives, the darts are a great quality but the flights go bad pretty quickly from falling off and having to be put back on, the plastic flights don't hold up well. I would just order some extra flights when you make your purchase. The rest of the darts are solid. My dad actually bought me some Franklin darts at Big 5 when he noticed my flights were falling apart. The back portion on the Franklins that holds the flights on snapped on 2 of the darts we were using on the first couple games. The darts that are included with the board are all metal and great quality. Just need some extra flights.

Now that it is the weekend, we had time to set up this dartboard. Spent 2 hours making sure it was anchored well to our wall and completely straight. Didn't want anything to happen to a $220 dart board. Very first game, we noticed that the majority of the time, the triangle singles around the bullseye don't score. After an hour of playing, the sound stopped working. It went from being super loud, to you having to put your head right next to the dart board to hear anything. We checked the volume controls, it was still on the highest volume level. We unplugged, and replugged it in... Still nothing. We also noticed that the darts are nearly impossible to get out of the board. When 2 grown men and 2 grown women take a few minutes to get their darts out of the board, something is off! The dart tips break like they are made from butter. We are fairly experienced players. One of the players uses to be on a dart league. So its not like we were just whipping them into the board. Just expected better from a $220 dartboard. I could understand if these issues happened with a cheap $30 board from a store. We ordered a replacement board yesterday. It will arrive tomorrow and we will switch it out. Hopefully, we just got a bad board? I will edit the review if that is the case. As of right now, we'd say this is an absolute terrible board. Far too many issues for something with such a higher price tag. We have friends and family with dartboards, they paid a fraction of the price we did and seem to have much better boards. Very very poor quality of product as it is now.

I had bought the Solar Blast and had issues with it, so I upgraded to this board and couldn't be happier. This is multitudes better and worth the extra $50. Below are the main reasons why this board is great and better than the last: - Cricket scoring is EASY to read from distance and is grouped together; with the Solar Blast it ran horizontally and at different levels- you couldn't tell what was closed or open without walking up to the board and figuring it out - Bounce outs- Playing with the exact same darts this board has 1/3 of the bounce outs that the Solar Blast had. - Quality- the material on the board is heavy duty, and will catch and hold your darts. - The voice that announces scoring is accurate and says the same thing no matter what you hit; the Solar Blast would only announce if you missed a mark or 2x 3x mark. If you hit a single 20 or 18 etc- it was silent - Cutthroat cricket works how it's supposed to on this one; the Solar Blast scores it imprroperly, giving points to all players even if they have it closed out. - It's easy to pull up games and number of players; Solar Blast would revert to 4 players every time you started it up and you would have to scroll up through 16 players to get to 1, 2 or 3 player selection. It also quick select buttons for Cricket and 301. - It is SO easy to alter score if someone throws a dart without advancing the player. Never figured out how to do it with Solar Blast - No technical issues with this board- Solar Blast had them immediately. Unless you are investing a lot of money into a board, I think this is the best one on the market in this price range..
