Being tall (6'2") and hitting the weights often, it can be hard to find underwear (or pants too for that matter) that fits comfortably having 26" circumference thighs. It's uncomfortable wearing boxers and boxer briefs when the material bunches up on the upper quads whenever I sit, squat, or crouch. Briefs and bikinis leave impressions on my upper thighs as the leg holes are too small.Only having a string portion at the quads makes it much more comfortable for casual or gym wear. It's a better experience wearing string bikinis rather than compression shorts during those heavy squats, deadlifts, and lunges at the gym. Due to my tall height, I have a longer torso, and the waistline on most low-rise underwear (like this string bikini) actually rests on my hips and upper glutes than actual waistline at the belly button (it's 35"), and already most 2XL underwear is getting too small for me. I bought 3XL here, but I could have went with 2XL for a more snug fit, but it's not worth complaining over.For those who are tall, and do heavy weight training with the legs, be sure to buy a size up or two if you buy them, though I'm sure you are encountering this similar situation already with most low-rise underwear. Otherwise, if you buy the size based on the waistline rather than the measurement around the hips, you will find that the too small waistband will be uncomfortably putting pressure on the hips to the point you can't wear them at all.Update (June 2021): The string bikinis still hold up! I use the gentle cycle on cold water, and either hang dry or tumble dry low to extend the life of the underwear, and the quality is still good from when I last bought in December 2020.With arrival of summer, they are also proving their worth too in the hot, humid weather. Boxers, boxer briefs, even briefs (especially if they are not 100% cotton) are insufferable, when you have to work outdoors in a hot 90+ degree Fahrenheit ( 32+ degrees Celsius) day with high humidity. Those just insulate body heat, and make the heat experience even worse causing excessive sweating down there, further dehydration and heat exhaustion. These string bikinis use a minimal approach to provide pouch support comfort, but with one layer of cotton material only (modal is a breathable, absorbent material that doesn't weaken when it is wet like cotton does) for the pouch and the glutes, that's it. I highly recommend purchasing these if you have to work outdoors (or even just going outside) in the oppressive outdoor heat. These Hanes string bikinis are designed with an all day, functional, practical purpose (i.e. the gym, casual wear, summer outdoor work), unlike some other string bikinis that are primarily designed for fetish wear.As of August 2022, noticed they stopped making the 3X-Large size. A shame, as it was great size for us that had large thighs and glutes. Hope they return in making the size again.

Since you are reading the reviews, you are probably considering trying these string bikinis. Especially if you like briefs or regular men’s bikini, you will love these String bikinis.Been wearing these strings for the last 4 months and now totally hooked on them. I have a 32 inch waist and the size medium fits perfectly. Very comfortable and non-binding, feels as though I’m not wearing anything at all.The pouch gives a nice support and keeps everything in place. Especially if you need a little extra room in the front. These got you covered. As a weekend warrior, these string bikinis provide me with extra support while hiking or mountain biking.Was lucky to have received two in the color black, with my most current purchase. Give these a try guys!

Just got these. They arrived promptly and in good order. I have a pair on now and these are actually MORE comfortable than the Jockey Elance String Bikini underwear I wore and loved for decades until Wally World discontinued selling them, EVEN online. I love the color assortment a lot. I feel like ordering 100 pairs before someone in their infinite wisdom decides to discontinue THESE briefs. Of course, I have no way to tell how durable they will be, but they seem as though they will be at least comparable to the Jockey Elance briefs I loved for years which were quite serviceable and durable over time. If I find different, I will amend my review. Until then, I HIGHLY recommend these to anyone who loves string bikini briefs.

6 for 15, what a deal! I really like these, but they do run large. I wear a 34, and found the mediums a bit too large. I put them all in a steel bowl and poured 200F water on them to soak. Then into a hot dryer, and presto, they are about an inch smaller side-side. OF NOTE: The colors ran really bad, especially the blue, in that hot water. Guess I got the color transfer out of the way. They will run. But they're also good for running, although you should prolly wear running shorts too.

For those who like minimalist underwear, this one is well designed, compared to some others. Compared to some of the other products, such as one name brand competitor and the Chinese stuff, this one is a bit more comfortable, is true to size and the fabric is just as good as some that cost more. Oh yes, it has a little more room in the trunk for the junk, you might say. That's the part I like best. Once you start wearing this type of underwear, you will likely keep doing it. Hooyah for Hanes.

Size runs big IMHO, especially in the pouch. I fall between Large & Medium so, I need to size down I guess. Material is thin, with regular wearing they develop holes and become uncomfortable after about 3 months, especially when wearing jeans. Priced too high for the lack of durability. Let me start off by saying that my part of my underwear drawer is full of Jockey Elance String Bikinis (Jockey is my main go to brand for Undies) but I bought these as a cheaper alternative when I seen that Hanes started making them and I ABSOLUTELY love these as you can tell by my second photo in the review I am a male with a bubble 🍑 and these fit great! Also they are supportive as well! Definitely will buy more when needed! 5/5
