Use daily as my facial steamer and humidifier. Very nice and very durable. Easy to clean.

I do not use this to cook food. My husband bought this for me so I can make a fresh hot cup of tea at work. I add milk, water, tea powder and spices. Keep on low for a few minutes and let it boil and voila. Fresh hot tea is ready. The temperature gets noce and hot. I take it home, soak water in it and it is easy to clean. But I haven’t used this for anything else so cannot comment on that.

Fast, easy for making a quick meal or boiling water for pasta. 4 stars because it doesn't have a simmer. High is really high and low is still too high and will burn quickly if you leave it for even a flash.

I freaking use this thing to cook everything that will fit and even caught myself trimming meat to fit in it. It cooks pretty good it's got two heat settings "hot and I'm assuming Hell" just last night I made "drop in the pot stew" started by sauteing garlic and butter from a cold pot and I but a dab of butter in and added garlic , and turned on low, and almost instantaneously i heard butter starting to sizzle, (so be sure keep constantly stirring if applicable), it's not coated with anything, it's just stainless steel or something like that but no ceramic. But it will clean up fairly easily, I mean you don't need no heavy equipment or anything just the basic dish cleaning accoutrements. I do recommend it though it's a pretty good pot that heats very quickly and it's actually built pretty good! Also makes a pretty good and fast, cheeseburgers, thinking about cutting a London broil in half sear it up , dump in onions, cream of bacon and cream of celery soup chicken broth and let it cook til time to add a few baby red potatoes till tender, unplug , grab a cold beer , head out on deck and enjoy it with high definition mother nature, eat and reboot ....cheer's

I don't write reviews often, but I have to give this little pot props! It worked out perfectly for what I wanted to use it for. I was hoping and pleasantly surprised when I was able to saute some chicken and chopped vegetables for a few minutes before adding my broth. I was able to make a delicious pot of soup just for me. There was plenty of room in the pot if I wanted to make 2 servings. I was able to hard boil and then turn it down to let it simmer for a little while. I will be using this often!

Fast hot water, be prepared with all ingredients and enjoy.👍

BUY IT! I never write reviews. I own 4 of these. For home, office, my dad's place, and a backup. It's how I eat healthy. You can steam fresh veggies from a bag and fresh chicken for about 30 min and have a healthy meal anytime. Grill your chicken in advance and refrigerate it; you can cut the cook time down to 15 minutes. It steams leftover steak and fish to taste like freshly cooked. Throw in a cup of parboiled rice or cut up a sweet potato (if not on a low-carb diet), and you're done. Buy it and use it! This thing will change your life for the better! I can't think of anything else I've ever bought for under 50 bucks that has made such a difference.

I read all the negative reviews for this pot before purchasing since I really liked the design but was worried about feedback. What I discovered validates what others are saying, but kept a close eye on the cause of it rather than just point out the problem. The first major design flaw is the lid. The glass lid is shaped in a way where it barely touches the outer rim of the interior cooking surface. In other words, the metal rim of the lid touches the metal rim of the pot. What this does is whenever you have a roiling boil, steam will collect on the surface of the lid and drip down to the sides. It will then run along the edge of the pot and then leak along the side. This is what people were complaining about when they said they had "leaky" pots and didn't know the cause. The solution to this is to either not use the lid, or slightly tip the lid downward into the center so steam will pool and drip back into the center. The 2nd design flaw is the way the plug is designed. Since the plug (female) is recessed into the pot, that means any spills you have running outside of the pot will drip into it. If the pot is on while this happens, there's a chance of a short or blowing a fuse if water pools inside the connector. The solution to this is to add a small piece of foil over the male plug once it's into the female port so water will run over it rather than pool inside of it. Or you can simply just throw a small wash cloth or dish rag over the cord so any water will be absorbed instead, but this can be a fire hazard depending on the circumstances. Either way, be very careful of overboil and the plug port. Outside of that this is a decent pot. It boils water in 7 1/2 minutes if using the "max" fill line inside, and is perfect for cooking ramen or soup for 2 adults. The outer protective surface is not hot to the touch, so you can pick it up (or glance against it) without being burned. It's also easy to clean and de-scale with some vinegar or citric acid. Hopefully the manufacturer reads this review and makes improvements to the product in the future. Make a lid where the internal rim will not allow water to escape, and make the female plug port more secure from overboil. There's a reason why other manufacturers extend the port away from the pot; it's this reason. Some of them also simply just use a standard male plug rather than allow a detachable one. It's not as convenient to clean or carry, but it's a lot safer.

Have had this for a while now, works well. Use it a couple times a week to cook rice and cut up sausage, then when done add fine chopped broccoli and Ozaku Miso Chilie sauce. My favourite dish to prepare. It's good for so many other cooking uses as well, even just boiling water. Is a must have appliance for my RV and camping adventures, and at home.

So far so good. I love the convenience of it. I work from home and wanted one for my office. It does not disappoint. Very easy to clean. Comes to a boil quite rapidly and keeps food hot. I like to make my ramen and let it sit for a minute or two and it loses no heat with the lid on and the power off. Highly recommend. Comes with a nice little recipe book as well.
