I bought two of these in Nov. 2015. They are lovely in my small pond. I'm in the upper South (USA) so we get a lot of sun but it can also get cold in winter, so I do bring them in for winter. Recently one seemed to stop working and I noticed the plastic over the solar collector is not so clear anymore. I might try to clean it with some windshield cleaner. But even if that doesn't help, I consider the pleasure of the light well worth the money and for how long it has lasted.

Don't waste your money on these. Mine have never even been in the pool, but the rain we have had since I bought them since December has not only rusted the ring on top, they are not one by one stop working. Water is now inside the lights. Poorly made , and just a joke! They would have been awesome IF they worked, and now I have passed the deadline for return or refund, just 3 months later!

When I purchased these lights, they worked great around the pool or hanging from a tree. They fully recharged and lasted 6 hours with changing light colors.6 months in - some lights filled with water when placed in the pool, the rings on top rusted (regardless if in pool or out). They ended up looking a little sad I the end and not all that f them worked well after 6 months. PLEASE keep in mind that they were used in Florida which has brutal sun rays. For the price, I would probably purchase some again, I would just hang them from trees and not put them in the pool. 😊

I was very excited to receive these floating balls and to see how they would enhance my pool at night. Within a few weeks they began, one by one, to not light up at night. I discovered that they had begun to take on water and rust inside. There is no apparent way to fix them. I'm so sad and disappointed in the product. Do not spend you money on them!!

Love these light up balls, they are fun for kids and adults alike. Fun to watch and have been holding a charge with no issues for over a week with daily use. My only complaint is one has already broken, somehow water got into the casing. I have an idea that my grandson sinking it in the pool might be to blame though. Overall great product that was delivered assembled and ready to use.

I would by another one. One thing I really don't like though, is there is a ring included for you to hang the light, or to anchor it to something on your pool, the ring rusts... This is meant to be in water.... so why didn't they use a stainless steel ring? Because that would make sense! But cool little light.Isn't super bright but adds neat accent to the pool (if the pool/patio lights are off.... again, not bright)

We us them around the pool - as we found they usually wound up into the filtration system! So, we started hanging them on the branches of the trees that surround the pool. It is awesome! the lights reflect beautifully onto the water at night. Better than what we were especting!

This seems like a great idea - let it float in the pool 24/7, light up at night, and never worry about changing batteries. Unfortunately, the light never actually worked. Charged in sun for many hours, but all that resulted was a faint flicker of color that lasted less than a second. Return was smooth, at least. If a reliable light like this comes out, I'll be the first in line to buy it.
