This is a strong phone holder. It does not slip of fall off. It was easy to put on my vent. It’s easy to move from one vehicle to another. I’d buy again for sure.

2015 Chevy Malibu. This product fits lovely! Love that I got a 2 pack, I also love that it locks to the air vent, no more issues with it falling off! It is incredibly light. Love that they magnetic piece can rotate 360°. Works great! Really not sure what everyone is complaining about it is super easy to install. Just unscrew the side that goes in the vent, then slowly screw it back in, until it is stable and has no wobble. Then unscrew the side with the ball that rotates, set it to how you want your phone to look, then tighten it. Easy! The one thing I have to say is the magnets are a little strong, and be careful when you take your phone off of it, it likes to try to take the vent fan with it, but your phone will definitely not fall off!

Reviewing: LISEN 2021 Upgraded Clip Magnet Phone Holder If you're interested in any negative thoughts you can scroll to the bottom to see what little negative I think there is. Grips my dash vent unlike any other I've tried - and I've tried about 4 other brands/types. All the others grip reasonably well at first, then completely lose it and start slipping after a month or so. I'm willing to accept some compromise with a vent holder because it sits at just the right spot for me. Well, this holder is no compromise in the way it grips the vent fins - it is rock solid! It really is meant for only certain types of vents, so pay attention to any compatibility notes. FWIW, I have this in a Mazda 6 (2014). I've tried other holder types that grab the phone and I just find them bulky. Personal preference is the magnetic. This particular magnet *feels* just slightly weaker than other brands I've tried, but it has proven to be just as solid in holding my phone as the others. Not really sure why this one *feels* weaker than the other magnets, maybe because I don't get that 'snap' as the magnet pulls it in, like I did with others. I've never had an issue with the phone dropping off the magnet or twisting around due to road conditions. For reference, I live in the mountains on rough, narrow, windy roads with potholes - *never* been an issue. The only time I've knocked the phone off the magnet is when I've smacked it pretty hard with my knee and hand. Normally one-handed use - tapping swiping etc. - pretty solid! For reference, I'm currently using this with an iPhone 12 Pro in an Apple MagSafe silicon case. The metal plate is between the phone and case. In other phones I've stuck the plate to the back of the phone with the adhesive, but with the MagSafe case the metal plate actually stays pretty well put. If you're wondering if the MagSafe case is strong enough to attach to the holder without using the supplied the plate - NO! Not even close. Not the holders fault by a long shot, just not enough metal in the native phone or MagSafe case for the magnet to grab on to. Your iPhone will turn and slide off before you can even pull out of your driveway. Just drop the metal plate between the case and phone and you're good to go. If you're wondering if you can use wireless charging if you have that metal plate in there - sorry, I don't know, I don't use wireless charing. What I can say is that the iPhone still recognizes the MagSafe case even with that plate there. As a note, I've also used my magnetic holders with an iPhone 7+ in a fairly thin Spigen case. Also an iPhone 6+ in a bulky Otter case. The magnetic grip has always performed well. Now for the negative - and it's minor. The tightening wheel for securing the tilt of the magnetic base can be a bit tricky to really tighten. I like the ratcheting tightening wheels for both the base and for the vent grip, but the space between is a bit narrow and can be tough to get your thumb and index finger between to get that last tick or 2 on the base tightener. Wasn't an issue for the wheel on the vent piece, just on the magnetic base piece.

The instructions included with this phone holder are very good, but the booklet is so tiny I needed a magnifying glass to read it. The reason I bought this product is that my new phone case has metal on the back but no place to attach a pop socket like I used previously. The metal on the back of my phone can attach to a magnet. I was surprised to see that the box includes 4 round metal stick-on pads and 2 larger rectangular pads. The magnets in the holder grip these metal pads firmly. If the back of your phone/case is flat then you can attach one of the metal pads to any phone. With so many pads, you could share them with other people using your car. There are two holders provided, which allows you to use two holders in your car at one time or place the holder in two different cars. I worried that my phone would fall off the magnet, but it stays attached. Admittedly, if you can use the supplied stick-on metal pads then your phone will attach most securely. This set of two holders and six stick-on metal pads far exceeded my expectations.

I purchased these about six months ago and they were installed once and haven’t loosened or come off at all since. I’ve been very impressed with how sturdy they are. They hold my phone securely every time without any slipping or movement. The product functions exactly as it should and matches the description perfectly. Even after months of regular use, it continues to perform reliably with no issues. After months of use with no loosening or failures, they continue to hold my phone securely. A solid, worry-free option that does exactly what it claims.

UPDATE: I got a new OhSnap 5 grip for my phone. It's magnetic and has no problem magnetting to just about everything else, but it just doesn't work well with this car mount and I don't know why. It has charge-through capability, and I think that might be part of the reason? It's really frustrating! I don't know why they don't work together... This is SUCH a better design than our old car vent phone mount! The extendable arm cantilevers the mount in a way that makes it VERY stable, even for a large phone. But possibly even better than that is the pivoting head of the mount, which allows me to tilt the phone slightly if the sun is too bright overhead to see the map while I'm navigating. The only downside I could see to a more simply designed vent mount: because of the cantilever arm, this mount isn't quite as quick as others to install and remove IF you need to switch it between cars a lot (which I don't). That said, we got a two-pack, and my husband has been taking one of the mounts with him when he travels for work and rents cars, and he doesn't seem to mind the extra second it takes to install this one compared to our old one. Final verdict: highly recommend this mount!

Easily the best car phone holder I've bought and used Sturdy, strong magnet, easy to put in and doesnt get in the way.

When installing, I thought the hook would never reach the end of the fin of my car (City 2023), thankfully it did. It's great for my usage. The grip is solid and does not come off easily. Plus I can rotate or adjust the view of the phone if I want when mounted. A great bang for the buck, since it comes as a pair.
