The instructions were ok to follow but they didn’t give step by step instructions. Only photo diagrams. It does take two people to put the shelf on. Be sure that you don’t tighten the legs too tight so that you can fit it the shelf on. Then you could tighten up the legs after

Color was true to description. It’s smaller than I wanted. My fault, should have ordered up.I kept though and I’m happy with the quality.

We purchased this and the matching side table. The side table has cam-lock connections for the legs where this does not. I had to drill several holes where they were either missing or not large enough (in the case of the dowels). Definitely took two people to secure the legs to the two parts of the table. One leg is about 3/16" shorter than the other 3, VERY annoying - so we had to shim it with a felt pad. Unfortunately, this means either the other 3 legs go without (on hardwood floors) or we double up on this one leg - which will probably be the way we go to protect our floors. For the price I paid ($105.01 with free shipping) it wasn't a horrible purchase.PROS: good size for our space, made of real wood (near as we can tell), looks like an upscale piece. Unsure of the sturdiness as we just put it together, but doesn't wobble other than the one short leg which was remedied with an additional felt pad. We don't have small children so this should hold up for several years for us. Went together rather quickly given all the issues we had, color matches the side table of the same line, glass fit perfectly.CONS: difficult to put together - given that many holes were either not drilled/too small (dowels) which required us CAREFULLY drilling these to make it work, hole plugs fall out - fortunately they aren't seen and can be left out, one leg is about 3/16th inch shorter than the other three, legs have to be bowed just slightly to get them to seat completely, lacking the cam-lock system that the smaller table had, which would have been significantly more secure and easy to assemble.Overall, we're satisfied with our purchase - it made a huge improvement in the look of our living room for not a lot of $$. We'd recommend this if you are looking for a quick improvement and don't mind a little potential DIY to get it together.

Bought this table for my sectional and it is perfect. The size is nice for my smaller living room and compliments the corner of the sectional nicely. Construction was easy and the wood is very solid, not like particle board at all. The glass inset is a nice touch although dust can get in the crack between the table and glass, it's not a huge deal as lifting it out and doing a quick wipe takes all of 15 seconds.The color is a nice dark finish with a slight gloss. The wood is mostly very smooth, not like lacquered up smooth, but like a nice sanded and sealed finish, only a few edges have a grain that can be felt with your finger. I have coasters I use to keep the table looking nice and, luckily, the top of the glass is almost perfectly level with the top of the wood, so there's no lip to worry about if setting down a plate or glass.Overall, great, sturdy, beautiful table that has already gotten tons of compliments and questions of "where did you get it?" Recommended!

I am giving this table a tentative 5 star rating because while I have no complaints, there are enough reviews that makes one question durability - cracks occurring after a short time. That said, there are no defects in the unit I received, is was very well packaged, the instructions were clear, and in my case all of the parts fit perfectly. The only minor thing I found were some fingerprints in the stain on the underside of the top piece - clearly not much of a problem. The color is as expected - "Espresso" pretty much describes is accurately. The table is stable and matches some new chairs we got for an office very well.

The media could not be loaded.  I've had this table a little over a year now, and although I like the style and size of the table and the extra storage space below, it has it's issues. For one thing the color faded in some spots in the groove that holds the glass. Also, I have a weird semi-crack on top similar to what someone else posted, it showed up within a month of purchase. But my BIGGEST issue is how wobbly the table is with the slightest touch. I live alone and don't have any kids, but my neice(s) visit maybe once a month. Occasionally I will scoot the table a few inches from side to side so the table gets a little bit of activity but not enough to cause it to wobble as badly as it does. I tried tightening up the screws and bolts but that didn't help. So I'm just going to wait until one day it actually breaks and then replace it with another brand.

This table is exactly what we were looking for. Not only the price was great, but the table was good for small spaces and it looked beautiful in my living room. It made it look so fancy! My boys assembled it in no time and it is very sturdy. Overall, this table is a beautiful thing to have if you have a small living room like I do. I have a sectional and so the space in the middle is limited and good enough for this table. This table solved my problem of having a nice, beautiful table that fits in a small space.

Very nice and sturdy table. A review had mentioned a red tint to the wood. Yes, there is a slight red tint -- similar to mahogany. Dark wood that is very attractive. Good value for the money. Wish the glass would have been bevelled, but still a nice piece.

Table was easy to assemble and sturdy. I'm enjoying it.
