Good for Bedslide install
I used these to install a used Bedslide 1000 on a Toyota Tacoma, along with a Rivnut tool from Harbor Freight. The combination of these two isn't much more than what Bedslide charges for just four rivnuts and bolts with a crappy tool, and with this setup you get extra rivnuts and a tool to keep. I have loaded up and used the bedslide, and have not noticed any issues with the strength of these rivnuts, even with a composite bed.

STURDY AND EASY TO USE - INSTALLED MY TRUCK STEPS WITH THESE "Blind-Nuts"
I used the 5/16th size to install truck side steps into the underside frame channel of the truck. Just drill the minimum size needed to insert them, Use a bolt to tighten them down, Then remove the bolt and reinsert to mount your hardware. Great for when there in no access to install a nut on the back of your bolts!

Perfect. Strong. Rigid.
Perfect for blind or closed sheet metal where you need a very strong and rigid bolt connection. I hung heavy tool boxes in my work van. Used these on the frame rails. No way to get a nut in there and sheet metal screws wouldn't be strong enough. These are perfect.

Fantastic Product, great for hollow metal anchoring
I’ve used many different types of anchors through the years, but never seen any like this so I had to give them a try. I needed an anchor for hollow patio cover beam that could hold a toddler swing for my grandson. These are steel and do require some mechanical skills to install. First you need to drill a hole just big enough to fit the end of the anchor then hammer it in. Next I used a 5/16” bolt to draw the anchor down. I grabbed the anchor head with a pair of channel lock pliers and tightened the bolt with a ratchet until the anchor spreads and grabs the metal. I used a 5/16” eye bolt for the swing hooks to hang from. Worked out perfect. I weigh 200 pounds hung from one and it didn’t budge.I also will be using these for my hot rod project with hollow tubing to bolt some things together.

Useful Product
Needing to attach a removable ramp assembly in the back of my truck, I had no access for bolt/nut assembly by hand. These things work well, have a very acceptable appearance when ramp is removed.

Hard to use without tool. Makes a huge hole.
Requires a massive hole to drop this in, need tool to use them properly. They did not work for me.
