Horrible chemical smell the plastic was so thin it ripped while trying to put it on the mattress! Ended up throwing it away instead of even trying to return it due to it ripping apart so much

The DMI Twin XL Zip Mattress Cover is shockingly cheap in every possible way. When I say thin, I mean borderline imaginary. This thing feels like it’s made out of the same material as a grocery store produce bag, maybe thinner. Calling it a “mattress cover” is generous. It offers zero protection, zero durability, and zero confidence that it will survive normal human existence. A child rolling over in bed was enough to rip it open. Not jumping. Not roughhousing. Rolling over. If your mattress experiences gravity, this cover is already in danger. The zipper is flimsy, the fabric stretches like wet paper, and once it tears, that’s it, it doesn’t just rip, it gives up on life. There is no waterproofing worth mentioning, no thickness, no reinforcement. It feels like a disposable item that someone accidentally decided to sell as a permanent product. If you’re trying to protect a mattress from spills, accidents, pets, kids, or literally anything more aggressive than a gentle breeze, do not buy this. It’s super cheap in price and somehow even cheaper in quality. You’d be better off wrapping your mattress in a fitted sheet and hoping for the best. This product should not exist, and the fact that it’s marketed for actual use is almost insulting. Final verdict: Thin, fragile, useless. Avoid at all costs.

Cheap easy to tear. I wouldn't recommend

I have a 10” memory foam mattress which fits easily into this protector (with room to spare). I did not experience any issues with the zipper or with tearing, as reported by others. I topped it with my padded mattress cover then made my bed as usual. I can’t even tell that it’s there. It’s extremely comfortable to sleep on (no crackling or crunching sounds). It did emit a strong chemical smell when I released it from the packaging, but that only lasted about 24 hours so I aired it out before placing it on the bed.

It fits full size mattress as described. Easy to put on as I did it by myself. One downside is the quality of the cover, I purchased in March 2025, its now November and the cover is ripped. Cover is on my guest bed so doesn't get regular use, which probably prolonged its lifespan. Keep in mind, you get what you pay for.

Plastic zip cover not ideal. Got this for my newborn and toddler but after sitting on my bed for a while the plastic cover makes you feel wet when you get up and cause sweating. The cover also ripped after a few weeks of purchasing.

Very nice . It stretches a little and fits great.

You have to almost pillow case the cover around your mattress. Which depending on the size of your mattress means its a lot of work. And while trying to install, since it is so thin, it got holes in it. It did keep liquid off on the parts without holes. Was also a little loose on my mattress but i have a thinner mattress which could of been the reason why for that

Unfortunately, this product was extremely disappointing. It ripped immediately while trying to put it on the mattress, before it was even fully in place. The material is very thin plastic and feels flimsy, with a loud, crinkly sound every time it moves. Definitely not durable or good quality. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Lo usé en un colchón individual con colchoneta y le quedó jmuy bien, es un plástico muy delgado por lo que no hay ruidos al usarlo, es mas bien como una tela, pero ccumple perfecto su función de proteger el colchon contra líquidos. Una exelente relación de calidad-precio.
